Odin Returns To Asgard 

I like how Odin is like "Thor can take care of himself", and then Jane explains everything and then he goes "Okay, let's go..."

That ending is brutal. Too bad they couldn't just erase his memory of everything that connected him to Thor, send him back to Earth to live out a life as simple Dr. Donald Blake.

I feel sorry for Blake they kept the poor guy alive to be tortured further. In a weird way Thor came across as the villain even though he chose to spare Donald.

I love the concept of blake being the new god of lies, if loki did indeed mean that, a person who's whole existance was a fabrication becoming the god of lies now that loki has reconciled with his brother and has nothing more to hide.

That ending is how Loki got punished in his metholegy with the snake gripping venom

This man is the definition of "Just when I think I'm out, _they pull me back in."_

How poetic, Loki steps down from his role as a god and passes his old punishment to Donald Blake. Perhaps now Loki will take up the mantle of a full time hero now?

Donald's punishment is the same one that Loki had in norse mythology after he killed Balder.

I'm a little mixed here. On the one hand I feel sorry for Blake having to go through everything he did, on the other hand he did overthrow an entire kingdom.

Biker Odin is everything we need more of in comics.

The ending was great as it totally changed our perspective for Loki... really great.

The end was a nod to actual norse mythology as loki was trapped there until ragnarok happens in actual lore

The AllFather ODIN needs to be brought back to his Silver Age power levels

I'm 50/50 on the ending, it makes you feel sorry for Blake and makes Thor quite villainous but we'll see what happens when they revisit Blake.

It's crazy that a few years ago I didn't even know who Donny Cates was and now he's one of my favorites writers in comics. I think his Venom run will go down in history as one of the very best and everything he's done for Thor so far as been outstanding.

Can't help but feel sorry for Donald Blake. Odin had the right idea. Perhaps after some punishment, they can make it right for him by erasing his existence.

Not that I follow comics but, I'm glad to see how they have followed the myths to a certain degree.

I find it funny how Donald Blake was seen as this ultimate evil, an unstoppable force that nobody would stop.... and Thor just takes him to task in a one-sided ass whooping.

I’m honestly suprised we didn’t get Thunderstrike in this since he technically has some Odenforce power plus Eric’s dad was also an alter of Thor. I feel sorta bad since lately he’s either been shafted or he’s dead and I don’t know , either way he was a pretty unique character in the Thor lore.

The ending to this was PERFECT considering Donald's punishment is the EXACT same punishment that was given to Loki by Odin all those years ago. And I for one see this as a chance for Loki to become someone Better now that he has not only forsaken his title as God of Lies but as passed it onto another "Odinson" and therefore it no longer holds any power over Loki, he can no longer be addressed by that title and in at least one way become a king in his own right.

I would like it if they restored Odin to his former power level and greatness. They can create a multivariate arc to help them write a story in which another dimensions Vili and Ve give our 616 Odin their powers, bridging him back but with a different purpose, to save the new universe that the multiversal brothers come from. Cool idea I think.

Yeah but.....his apearance was not because of enchantmants....in fact he was never enchante wasn't he? His apearance was because of genetic and cybernetic alterations to him made by his people so he could protect them. It has nothing to do with magic. The only thing he got from asgard was a new set of amor made in the style of asguardian armor but also still resembeling that of his own people and an enchanted wappon of his own wich was similar in powers to Thors was it not. So technically him revearting to a prior state because magic was stripped from him doasn't make any sence, doas it? He was gifted a wappon wich was Stormbringer because he was noble enough in his intentions to be worthy of wielding Mjolnir. Again his looks and his power don't come from any asguardian magic but those are enhancemants made to him by his people. There is and never was to my knowlege in the comics any enchanted Beta Ray Bill. So this makes absolutely no sence at all from any perspective what so ever and given the history of Beta Ray Bill. How was it that there was never an uproar for that?

I don't like that ending. Donald's punishment is more cruel than anything. It doesn't seem like punishment to me. More like torture than justice or whatever you want to call it.

I would have just let Odin do it. Feels unnecessary to torment the guy just to come back later. He's essentially just a new Loki
