Well, they may be AFT "Compliant" today and may even come with an AFT Letter....BUT just give the AFT a couple of weeks/months/years and they will do a Complete 180 (just like with the Bump Stock/FRT/Forearm Brace/etc) and suddenly Declare them to be ILLEGAL.

buffer tubes that are required for mechanical function of the weapon are fine.

The AFT buffer was kinda funny ..... I'm sure he had a different name for it ..... But opted for a more algorithm friendly one. If I were there ..... I'd be that guy to take it to the AFT booth for you. That armors block has really got my attention!

I have the Odin O2 Lite fore end on my PSA PA10 and are by far my favorite handguard that I own. Extremely light very solid.

Make a bipod that has its own shoulder stock. Bipod would attach to a pic rail or mlok slot of any pistol with or without a buffer tube could be pulled securely against your shoulder for stability. Or just legalize all short barrel firearms.

A buffer tube is required in the operation of the pistol. The ATF ruling only applies to stabilizer braces.

Lets do some creative thinking.... That buffer makes the AR pistol compliant in the eyes of the FAT. Soooo.... Sell separately a shooting vest that would receive that spike for either left or right hand shooters. The spike would insert into a cup that is sewn into the vest. Can they outlaw clothing? Nothing has been said about shouldering a slick buffer tube. Shooting vests with pads have been around for decades if not centuries.

I already have a "short stroke" buffer. It was designed in the 1970s by the CIA for special operations. A good reference would be Mr. Clark in "Clear and Present Danger". Hard to find, but available, and shoves the new "brace" rule right up the ATFs ass!

The buffer tube would work with a plate carrier that has a pad the point rest on. The pad would not be a part of the firearm and unregulated

I wouldn’t want to have that buffer tube spike if I ever needed to mortar my rifle, especially since I’ve trained to do it off my thigh… However, it will definitely take butt strikes to a WHOLE other level.
