That Magpul folder takes me back to 60’s childhood. We had Man From Uncle toys that turned into guns, including a “transistor radio” that became a rifle (the carry handle was the scope, butt stock and barrel popped out) and a camera that became a pistol. ‘Fess up, Magpul, your older guys were inspired by 60’s toys.😅

In their new ruling, the buffer tube of an AR can be considered a stock. No way Thai is going to fly unfortunately.

The firearm cannot operate folded, therefore the cover sticking out is an integral mandatory part... Plus it seems atleast one sample has probably been submitted for approval already... So just like an AR pistol with a functional buffer tube is still legal just without being capable of accepting braces, so would this, luckily no standard braces already fit this design or they would've been in a tougher spot to also offer a carbine version...

They say it ain't practical but honestly I could see this gun being very useful as a bag gun, something that can tuck away and fit nicely in a regular "non-military" backpack but provide more stability and practical accuracy than a regular pistol. Plus, it's just cool, would love to see an optics-ready version at some point

I was looking at the pictures that magpul and zevtech have posted on instagram and it looks like the carry handle might be removable, i cant imagine theyd spend all these years only to produce a gun that can only use iron sights

I don’t know man that’s pretty practical. That carry handle can be both a flashlight and a red dot. We travel and this would be perfect for walking the dog at rest stops and things like that.

Cool, but I like b&t (bwc) version better. It's a little bigger but made out of aluminum, and there starting to ship first quarter of this year. Plus, the b&t version is just an accessory, so it's not considered a firearm by itself

The ONLY thing better.... Sell the box portion to us, as a firearm. So we can put our own Glock lowers on it. I got the 27/26 should fit without tucking.. add an extra 21round mag slot that is fixed to the inside (easy to get too) so it's inconspicuous. May need to sell it as a (complete upper) firearm. With barrel and slide spring. I'll do a conversion #(ck) common knowledge
