Old Dominion University nursing major Isabella is following in her parents’ footsteps. Isabella’s father is a Brigade Commander at Fort Pickett in Virginia and her mother is a nurse practitioner. After stepping foot on ODU’s campus, Isabella decided she wanted the best of both worlds and enrolled as a nursing major in the Army ROTC program. Through ODU Army ROTC, Isabella learned to command presence, grow as a leader and apply critical thinking in her coursework and real-life situations. Army ROTC sets her apart from her peers and has prepared her physically, mentally and academically to take on a career in nursing. Meet more ODU military at www.odu.edu/monarchsreign
