Seven years ago a young CastScarab9 and friends had a dream to make a machinima after being inspired by Arbiter617's Rise Of The Spartans and by Digital Virus's Dawn Of The Titans. The original cut of this project goes for a little over 1hr but instead of releasing it all at once, 23 min of the movie was given a directors cut treatment and released on Christmas Day of 2021.
Through your continued support by subscribing, commenting, liking, and sharing we can aim to get part 2 out given the same treatment as Part 1 at a later date.
"At the time I was heavily inspired by the people that from my perspective pioneered the machinima community. I wanted to make something epic, fun, and stunning, although, it was a tall order for me back when I was just 17 years old.
I wanted heart, soul, passion, to go into this project and for the people that were a part of it to feel just as enthusiastic. As time went on I tried to recruit CGI animators and voice actors, too many of these key people kept dropping in and out of the production resulting in the project being canceled twice.
It was also in part due to massive changes going on within my personal life and in the lives of those around me. As a result, making a video like this was just getting harder and harder to do.
Fast forward to the year 2020 when CastScarabStudios was re-branded to High Council Media making CSS a sub department within HCM. Time, resources, and the know-how to make this kind of project became way more possible.
