The La La Land Omega May very well have been a Franken-watch and that would very much suit his character. He was a struggling jazz musician with a penchant for the old school, but living in a modern world. He wouldn’t be able to afford a watch from Theo & Harris, but he could get a watch from a pawn shop or eBay that he thought was cool.

the PP in Drive was a prop, there were 6 made for the movie and there is not a real PP that looks like it. I thought it was common knowledge in the watch world

The Omega Seamaster could very well be vintage, most likely from the late 1950s or early 1960s. The dial looks ok to me, but the hands may not be original. The most common style for hte hands back in the late 1950s was "baton" (long rectangles), but the dagger type on Gosling's watch is known to have been in use too.

Great episode! What I love the most is this is one area where Americans (and everyone else for that matter) are and always will be completely humbled and in total i awh of Europe. I mean, have any single continent in history ever been so dominant and so much better for such a long time in producing something that´s so humanly innate, important and valuable before?
