This brings back memories of the simpler times... Chilling with friends in the basement, just smoking weed, not worrying about anything about what we’re going to do to pass the time, now we all don’t even talk to each other anymore. Everything is so fucked up now. I thought I was depressed back then, I now realize I just took for granted the freedom and friendship we all shared.
Recently a friend passed away who had "let it go & let live" tattooed on his chest.. I can't stop listening to this song even though it reminds me of him.
jadeychuu Well, follow his word, let live. If you're spiritual or religious you can believe he's in another life. If you aren't, you can know that he's safe from any pain life threw at him.
I started listening to this band when restoring force came out and was like alright these guys are not that bad but then I listened to the first two albums they produced and I gotta say the first two are far better then the latest. Shayley was so much more better then aaron and Austin was actually being the badass vocalist on every track not just some of them. Just my opinion of course and will continue to follow and support these guys.
This stuff just doesn’t exist anymore. There’s some solid bands out there still making decent new stuff, but I’ll tell you what 12 years ago was the peak. Delicious to the ears and and the drip drip of soul 😢
This band has saved me. I miss this sound, but i am glad to see Of Mice & Men for a record 7 TIMES! 2012 - 2016! Much has changed, but this band will always be my favorites till i die. Got me through all 4 years of High School. 🖒
Man this is one of the albums that really got me invested into metalcore and heavier music in general. Every song is great and I have so many memories of driving around as a teenager listening to this. Good times.
Other than Second & Sebring, this will always be my favorite song. Let it go & let live will be tattooed on me. This songs means so much to me. My ex was the one thought I was going to be with forever and she ruined that.
I'm 22 now, and haven't really listened to stuff like this since 2016-17 and honestly I'm having a bit of a nostalgia trip. Remembering those peeps that I used to be friends with back then, and now I'm not friends with any of them. Guess things and people change 😎
I have these Lyrics tattooed on my wrist. Everytime suicide creeps in my mind I look down at my wrist and remember to "Let it go, and let live again" anytime I suffer a heartbreaking situation or a tragedy, I look down at my wrist and remember to Let It go, And let live again. I swear, OM&M gets better with age like wine. Every year this shit sounds better and better. It hurts my heart to know one day I'm gonna die and never hear their music again. So fucking good!
Shayley Bourget and Austin Carlile were the ONES 😞 when they both left, of mice kinda lost its own identity. I strongly recommend you to search Dayshell (Shayley’s project since 2013 and still going) Austin currently has a Patreon but he isn’t making metalcore anymore because of his Marphan Syndrome
@@graveraider1029 They don't have choice, the band needed a clean vocalist because the sickness of Austin don't let him do both clean and unclean vocals, at the end the band has no vocalist so they sign Aaron
Yeah, I do think so. That's part of what makes it so hard. Regardless of why they are doing what they are doing, there's always someone out there who cares for them. That person may be the deciding factor for whether they do it or not. They don't want to inflict the same pain they have on anybody else.
Shayley voice mixed with Austin's always calms me down for some reason. Like if I'm having an anxiety attack I just put these songs on and sit/lay down and I just calm down

I related this to my addiction, I had to let he go, but she opened my eyes to life and kept me up for days upon days and helped me find my place with the Lord. I love this band. :)

Nope, his voice was great and everything and us fans are going to miss him but Of Mice and Men are still a good band even without him. As of right now they have to find there sound again but they're getting there.
He made them stand out. In a way that includes some of the greatness to the band, coz to me, they dont sound like Of Mice & Men to me anymore But to somebody else introduced later, they "sound like OM&M again/Welcome Back Of Mice". Imo I persomally cant enjoy them like before, but not bad, they are good, just keep trying to sound like a band they aren't. Aaron needs to sing more instead of try to replace Austin. Scream sure, but He's a great singer, idk why he forgets to utilize it.
It really upsets me to know that people can't just simply enjoy music and voice an honest opinion without being brought down by somebody. Telling someone to harm themselves, or kill themselves is disgusting. You should be ashamed of yourselves. we're all here for the same reason, and that is music. it's brought us together, and made us stronger. can we please keep it that way?
