I recently started getting into this band. This sessions’ You Make Me Sick was the first song I heard from them and boy did I love it. Y’all got any songs y’all would recommend?
@@stevencampos690 check out their first 2 albums. Self titled and the flood. YDG, john deux trios, second and Sebring, ben threw , product of a murderer, the don't call it the south for nothing are some bangers to get you started
@@stevencampos690 definitely check out their whole first album sooo good, but I love the flood as well. A couple in specific that I lovee are this ones for you off their 1st album, and product of a murderer and still ydgn are pretty sick off their second but just look through both their first 2 albums, love this band man
Aarons vocals were always good, loved his sound on both bass and vocals for a long time. Jamie’s elsewhere was awesome. Who new his screams would soon lead the band to new heights.
This video cost me money because I just bought my first Of Mice and Men album, albeit 6 years late. Why does it take me so long to discover such awesome music? Heavy, chunky, but also melodic at times. I love it.
Same man. I new of them since 2014 but never gave them a proper listen and I regret it so much. Fell in love with austin when he's been basically retired for 5 years fml.
A lot of people saying Aaron is the better vocalist. In my opinion he has better cleans but Austin has better screams. Austin has such much control in his screams and a much more characteristic scream. Not hating but I really find Of Mice and Men boring without Austin these days. 😫
However Aaron does have a much better technique. back in the day Austin was good, but he was still damaging his voice. towards the end he reverted to more of a whisper scream. It can kind of be heard here, but that was obviously to do with other health issues. Aaron can go and do a full hour set doing soaring cleans and dirty mids and still have full use of his voice of his voice after, because he uses proper false chord technique: he's obviously had professional training. Thats why he is technically a better vocalist, but maybe not everyones favourite, because he's not Austin/ doesn't have the same sound, and I respect that.
But you got to give it to all them for coming to a respectful and friendship agreement of moving on without Austin on one end for the band respecting Austin for becoming a Christian (praise Jesus for that) and for Austin saying hey I don't want conflict, I don't want royalties Just keep the band alive and continue going on!
@@absolutelynot9823 Ahh here we go. Knew one of you cunts that can’t read would emerge from the dirt. “In my opinion”, should’ve summed it up but clearly not. Yet I guess you’ll come back with “well your opinion is wrong” or something along them lines. In which case I’ll try to do better next time Superior Music Connoisseur.
I just got done saying that I had to comment, literally god bless Austin, the shit he has been through man and still spreading his positivity to this day. Him and his music played a huge part in saving my life recently and I'm forever grateful
Correct me if I’m wrong, but the Brixton show they mention just having played in this video - anyone know if that is the same performance recorded in their live album?
I can 100% agree, Pauley has always and will always be a better vocalist in my opinion, but the story of Austin just makes people love him that much more
OM&M used to be so good. What happened? Austin's half singing voice sounds terrible, glad he quit. Wish he had quit after The Flood so I wouldn't have to hear this crap.
Linkin Park did only remain successful because they changed their style from Awesome to fucking horseshit... as you can see most of the people these days like fucking horseshit better than awesome music!
hunting party as terrible, the OP was right, LP really just became trash mainstream because of wanting to appeal to all the stupid idiotic people that listen pop garbage
