I've just had exactly the same experience and saw my mum in what I'd call a kind of lucid dream state. Felt nothing like normal dreaming and she was incredibly clear and seemed a little shaken to be there and see me. Don't really know what to make of it. I wasn't scared but feel nervous I may attract other spirits who I don't really want to see at night in bed! Did you develop this 'ability' by pursuing altered states of consciousness, like meditation, yoga, binural beats or whatever or did it just happen?

@@NadiaFranke when you're out of body you need to focus your thoughts and ask to see someone who has died and they will appear. it takes practise.

I also saw a deceased loved on during a lucid dream. I know what this woman says it true that is not even an issue in my mind im just fascinated others have also had this experience.

I recommend reading about Edgar Cayce's transcriber who reportedly asked him to stop asking Angels questions because they were so terrifying. There are other examples out there that align with what she said.

HE HIMSELF is the one that interpreted the reason as being that he was 'probably being punished '. That doesn't mean that that was in fact the case. There are many things about music and vibrations that we are only beginning to learn. It could have been for a totally different reason.

Many of them are in a kind of dream state from what I've heard. If they have strong attachments to something on earth they'll find it difficult to let go.

Most of them don’t know that they died, others want forgiveness from living people so they can move on. And that’s why you have to forgive and wish well to those who are dead.

Apparently, souls that have passed over can still visit earth as a "spirit", whereas deceased souls that have not passed over, remain on earth as "ghosts", at least until they're ready to accept that they've died and need to move on.

I just hope mama wasn't hanging around when I sold her piano ...

@@voiceinthenoise3357 Yes. Where you “go” after the body dies depends on two things: what you thought/believed and how you lived. Simple, eh? If you make a choice while on earth to believe there is no God, no spirit dimension, no life after death, you’re in limbo. If you suffer, that’s what some call purgatory. The key is this: you take your mind with you wherever you go. If not, then truly you cease to exist. Believe that and darkness will be all around you when you’re dead. This lady is truly “of the spirit.” Listen twice. But also know this: there is a new heaven and a new earth. Now, present time. One example: we on earth now have and have long had ambulances, paramedics, and search teams that look for the lost. A paramedic or searcher does not ask “What do you believe?” She just rescues you. How could it be so on earth and not be so on the other side? If heaven is anything, it’s better than earth, right? So there are are medics and searchers who look for the lost. When you pray for a beloved dead one, you’re asking those Elisabeth called helpers to that one’s guardian angel to help them, rescue them, bring them into the Light. And they do. If you already understood all this before you read it, I recommend this practice: every time you drive past a cemetery or funeral home and when you pray, ask a helper or directly address your own guardian angel, and ask them to bring any dead people wandering around into the Light. Do this repeatedly and the day will come that you pass by that cemetery and get an overwhelming feeling of emptiness. Emptiness like the quite calm and peacefulness of nature, pure nature untouched by humans. They’re gone, those dead. So you continue this rescue work and choose another place, eventually perhaps your choice is a whole village, town, city. This is what is known as praying for the dead. Blessings. (And as you do for others, so will it be done for you.)

Not majority of Christians believe the soul sleeps. Most believe the body only “sleeps”. It is the part that we see as dead, so appears like sleep. And sleep is word used for death sometimes in the Bible, but the soul lives on, never dies. It either goes to a place of comfort, in the presence of God, if you believe and accept Jesus as God. Lord, Savior. Have turned to him for forgiveness of your sins. By his grace you are forgiven. Or a place of torment. But these places right now aren’t the Actual Hell. lake of Fire. Or Heaven as in New Heaven and New Earth. That will all happen at end of time, the Day of the Lord. when Jesus returns. The resurrection , is that of the body being reunited with the soul. Like when Jesus rise from the dead. His soul never died. Or “slept” . . We don’t know what kind of bodies are given in what is now “Heaven “. Maybe a spiritual body. And there are many different opinions on timeline of end times. Are Christians raptured if they are still alive at time of Jesus return before , on middle or after tribulation? I believe before. But in the verses about rapture they say we will meet Jesus in the clouds. 1 Thessalonians 4? . That’s different than the verses that say when he returns to earth and reigns for a thousand years…. (After He defeats Satan for the final time. )…The Millennium. After all that is the Judgement when the dead in Christ will be in The New Heavens and New Earth, Paradise with God for eternity and non lovers of Christ will be in the Final Hell. lake of Fire for eternity.

The newly dead lack a certain amount of awareness. The vast majority make it to the spirit world, but the folks who remain usually have a unique situation/trauma that keeps them Earth bound. Believing that you're still alive is definitely one of those reasons. The etheric body will appear however it perceives itself.

i have read stories of people who left their bodies during cardiac arrest and they don't seem to initially grasp that they are dead. eventually they do. it's a transitional thing. from one vibration to another (energy field) therefore consciousness needs to transition and adjust. you ask does an etheric body wear clothes? you are comparing that next life to this life with a physical structure. it won't be anything like that. the next life is pure consciousness. it's all thought. you think something, it happens. you think yourself a body, with clothes, and it will happen, but it doesn't mean you're actually wearing material. all material is not actually physical stuff - it's all etheric. even now.

If your carcass drops out from beneath you when you're not ready for it, and you're heavily invested in your 'life's story,' completely ignorant of the possibility of existence beyond the flesh, trapped deep in your mind (or in dementia), that imprint you've "identified with" carries over. It can take a while, even centuries before you get sorted-out, because you can only experience the flow of time through a living brain. In our native state, there is no time, no entropy, no psychological growth. You become a "mind-set" spirit if you don't get 'processed' and reunited with the multidimensional totality of your being. If the death is sudden or traumatic and the spirit has left the body quickly it can be disoriented and not realised it has departed. It can remain on the lower astral plain which is very similar to the Earth plain and can remain there for some time as it believes it is still alive. Hence the presence of "ghosts" which are really souls that are lost.

You’re being overly dramatic. It’s all about soul evolution. Every and all experiences are spiritual catalysts.

I have noticed contradictions.

Only when one experiences something really out of the ordinary one starts to believe. Not necessarily apparitions. Unexplainable things that have no natural logic. Only then.

Whenever we listen to NDErs and mediums, it’s important to remember that they are giving their translation or perception of events. Much like witnessing an accident or crime, each individual account will vary. I think it’s good to question the contradictions but it’s also important to listen with an open mind. As for guardians being protectors, I think that’s an overstatement. I view them more as guides. For me, it has always been intuitive like a sudden instinct to take a different route or avoid a certain person, etc. When I’ve followed that instinct, I have saved myself a great deal of pain. Conversely, when I haven’t honored it, I’ve suffered as a result. It takes practice to discern those messages but is well worth it. Anyways, that is my take on it.

She is mixing her Christian beliefs in with her experience. You are not a fallen angel, however, there are those that have incarnated to help but have fallen in consciousness.

Every year we should be a better person than the year before. Someday we “leave this stage” and go to another where we can progress even further than here.

Music is its own language. Perhaps there was something in the melody he needed that didn't include the trombones right at that time. Swedenborg, who traveled in the spirit world, waking and sleeping, for 30 years, said that wind instruments correspond to our heart and deepest feelings, while string instruments correspond to our thoughts. I am nearly 60 years old & use that. But I grew up & earned my degrees prior to the internet. There has been a dumbing down of America. Most "kids" today cannot write in complete, grammatically-correct sentences. They cannot spell.

If whereupon is truly dying out then I advocate using it as much as possible in order to prevent it from happening.

I'm not impressed with "contemporary" English. We have lost so much, in terms of vocabulary, and with the minimal use of descriptive adjectives and adverbs that we are seeing today. Reading letters written by people 150, 200 years ago---it puts us to shame. Humanity is going backwards in most areas.

I feel if you understood what was being said, then that's all that matters really.

when i was in my20s to 40s people used to say i was a laid back kind of person, in actual fact i was a very anxious person and dreaded being around crowds. i just hid it well. you are quite right you dont know what is going on in somebodies head

I believe the lady was speaking in the sense of energy. For example an unhappy spirit may come across as a heavy energy, then a happy spirit will have a lighter energy. The medium can sense this. Whether we are here in this life or the afterlife we are always energy good or bad. That's life! 😊

Heavy energy is when you sense their heavy energy. Like being around a depressed or dangerous person
