Another off-grid long weekend away in the Ford Custom AutoCamper. Here we revisit an old favorite, Llanddona Beach, where we bake bread and cook a shepherd’s pie on the beach in our Madog Outdoors open fire set. We find lots of Viviparous Lizards and enjoy a lovely sunset before chilling around the fire. The following day we visit the beautiful and peaceful White Beach where we find edible mushrooms before going for a curry and settling down for a final night on the beach at Pentraeth.

Another great video. Glad you guys are back posting your travels. I am off to Grannies Hielan Hame near Dornoch first thing tomorrow morning. Wild camping first night and on site for 3. This is my second adventure with my van. Thank you so much for the blogs you inspire me to get on with the outdoor life. Regards Raymond 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Thanks Sue. I don’t know what algorithms phone cameras use these days but they do capture sunsets magnificently! That was one of our fave camping meals and we’ll defo be doing it again. Hope to see you back out on the road again soon. Happy travels x

Hi guys, sorry for the late comment, loved watching your travels and we've been to a few thanks to you 😊, we have the same van and done a self conversion. Are you planning any future vlogs? Missed watching you and hoping all is well with you both ❤️

Hi. So sorry we missed your comment. Didn’t get a notification for it. Hope you didn’t think we were being rude. Ah…does that explain your profile pic at Pentraeth or did you already know about it? We thought yours might be an Autocamper too but you did it yourselves. Brilliant. Thanks for the support. Much appreciated x

Just a tip for you, when picking mushrooms, dont pull them up, cut the stems, the reason is you will break the mysilium??? the undergroung threads, its likley the area will not reproduce again
@adogaday
@adogaday 10 месяцев назад
Hi. Thanks for watching and the tip. Interestingly, though, there have been studies into whether cutting or pulling mushrooms is preferable and the results are that it makes no difference at all to future yields. Take care x

Good idea making the bed up late for a late stop off Love watching you guys eat something very therapeutic - great little hand chopping device Great you filming stuff most of us miss - very interesting lol the shot just after chopping wood it looks like you are never going to give up that bottle 😂 Magical sea mist Claudia I am curious about how you know what a rotting corpse smells like 😂 A beautiful vlog guys well done
@adogaday
@adogaday Год назад
Cheers guys. Ha ha. It may look like I’ve got a good grip on the wine but Claud managed to get her grubby mits on it at some point lol. As for how she knows what rotting corpses smell like, I’m not entirely sure but every summer we get a rather strange smell coming from under the patio in the back garden 🧐🤔👀. Thanks for watching and commenting, much appreciated x

Hi. I (Tim) lost my mum and dad within 11 days earlier this year so haven’t been out as much and haven’t really felt like doing any videos. In Scotland now but haven’t filmed anything really. Have a couple of things we may put up at some point. Thanks for asking x

@@adogaday Hi. I’m really sorry to hear the sad news about your mum and dad. Life throws us some awful things to contend with at times. Enjoy your trip to Scotland. Relax and unwind. We will be thinking about you both x Dale

Why are you promoting van camping at a location where overnight camping is not permitted? There are obvious yellow signs at the top of the lane. You may be responsible campers and most people don't have a problem with them but unfortunately the sizeable minority of irresponsible ones spoil it for everyone & you're encouraging them to come to Llanddona. It's only a matter of time before barricades are put up so that people can't enjoy a day parked up on the pebbles either.
@adogaday
@adogaday 5 месяцев назад
Pretty sure the signs aren’t official. We know people who have been visited by the police while staying overnight there and they’ve been advised they’re doing nothing wrong. We’ve never seen anyone acting irresponsibly there but accept it could happen. Regarding a potential barrier, someone placed a load of boulders at the entrance a few years ago to prevent people from parking on the pebbles and they were removed by the council so I can’t see that happening. Take care x
