Awesome! I'm just now learning how to do square stitch after only doing loads of peyote, and since I hate messing with the end threads on loom work, I decided to learn square stitch. Your method of doing it really DOES make the work sturdier and the beads line up a lot straighter. Thanks so much!!

Thank you for the video. I usually add on two beads but only go back thru one. It didn't turn out straight no matter what thread I used. Now I know a good weave for the square stitch.
This is exactly the way I learned square stitch a long time ago, I like this way of square stitch best, it is much more stable. Medicine beads on RU-vid uses this method as well

Yes you can use any kind of bead. Just be sure that the bead you use are the same kind and size to keep the uniformity of the work. I used delicas in my other video of off loom weave bracelets.
