Sport of rollerski or rollerskating is not very popular in Canada or USA unless you are a cross country skier and want to train XC SKIING before the winter.
I am using off-road rollerskis by Skike ( manufactured in Germany ) . Model : Skike V9 Tour 200.
These rollerskies are excellent on pavement ( smooth or rough texture ) or fine to medium gravel. I have not tested it yet on trails in the forest yet but one must be carefull not to fell on rocks or roots.
These rollerskis can be used to practice both ( CLASSIC or SKATE skiing ) Some modification required if you want to do classic or skate ski.
These rollerskis have breaking system which can be engaged with your foot going forward. I had to adjust how early or late brake will engage.
These rollerskis are "head turners", people often stop me and ask questions. On the other side mamy dog walkers hate me when I scare their pets with my poles.
