Mine are still holding up well. I believe you will be happy with the purchase. I would recommend the studded version even though you could do it yourself it would take a bit.. happy travels!

This was great to watch. Another one of my buddies came across these boards, and was really liking them. Do you know if they will stack up with Maxxtrax? I need 2 more and if they do… I’ll 100% go this route. Just don’t want to toss away the $$ I have into the max if I don’t have to.

I’m reaching out to find out… I know the hand holds are wider so it can’t be a perfect fit but I definitely like the material of the actiontrax over the Max particularly in cold temps. I’ll let you know what I find out

Good review but why did you put it in 4 wheel drive when you were in the mud. In 4 wheel drive it would have pulled out of the mud without the traction board’s since the front wheels were sitting on dry ground.

i was simply testing the boards so i purposefully got the rear stuck but not the front because i was alone and had no other form of recovery as there were no trees close. So yes I wanted to test the boards but i wanted to hedge my bets lol.. thats why i only used rear wheel drive in the test.

Dave, are you storing your Actiontrax in the slot on the top of your Hatchet Overland camper? Do they fit well? Thanks for the video!

Yes that’s what that slot is designed for is for traction boards… I don’t like my straps that I’m using to hold them on although they are secure.. I really want to find a strap that will hold them that is easier for release and connection.. these take longer than I would like

It’s off 108 across from a school between Coalmont and Gruetli Lager TN (somewhere around that - it’s been a while since I’ve been there.. it’s a power line road that goes for quite a ways.. it’s fun but doesn’t really go anywhere.. I’d says it’s 3 miles maybe.. but it is fun to use to test stuff

Yeah, really different material from max trax.. both have benefits but I think the more flexible has higher value over the rigid in most cases.

How the warranty compare to maxtrax ?

5 year warranty on everything but excessive wheel spin. Basically if you are spinning hard you aren’t using them right.. however, if it does happen simply drill out those and replace with nuts and bolts to repair.

Our Boards are made in Wichita Kansas he said . Then he said "This is an A"ctiontrax" and it's made Over Seas"!!! He said they are AMERICAN MADE - WTF???

Still made in the USA as I also called and verified before ordering. Me made a mistake in your video and didn't add the "Not" to made in China in the video. This was about two months ago. @@aMAYSingLife

I had to go back and rewatch it to see what he said.. now it makes sense.. it was a slip as he still had things in his head he was saying about the "Australian import" after he brought out the ActionTrax board. I should have cut that out as it was a misspoken word that I honestly didn't catch. they are definitely made in USA. @@harleyrenegade8035

I'll reach out and see if i can get it renewed. I recently used my actiontrax.. facepalm.. On the side of the interstate. I was needing to take a nap as i was getting extremely sleepy.. pulled off but then was on a big lean, so decided to go to the center to get level forgetting we just got a ton of rain.. oh yeah, i was stuck.. tried to winch but it was only taking me up the other side.. used two tracks on left side tires and i was out in no time.. pretty embarrassing but would have been a lot worse had i not had them lol..
