On our way to Cotopaxi we stopped by Play Dirty ATV rentals in Texas Creek. We took the two hour tour up in the mountains riding a Polaris SxS. It was some beautiful country up in those mountains!
Good to see you having fun, i know quitting your full time job was hard to do, but now look what you can do. Keep up the videos Adam and see ya in the next one. If i knew my old hunting property was still for sell here in indiana it would of been perfect for you, 30 acres in the woods with a massive 3 car garage with shop already built just need to build a house there and you would be set.
Looks like majority of the wildlife got the memo and while you were out having fun they were all down at the lodge having a beer 😁. Definitely beautiful country there. Glad you are having a ton of fun.
Lots of fun! Great trail! Been up here on my 6 seater! Texas Creek Cafe has kick ass corn dogs and ice cold pop! Gold panning Arkansas River bows the time running low! Westcliffe 24 miles from here great lil town ice cream shop of the early days! Great shakes ! Best resturant is Willies ask for the redhead from alabammy! Wooo hooos!
I’v enjoying your trips. You were lucky to get a couple of little lava rocks. If you ever vacation in my place, you can drive 45 min, walk another 45 min and wait for your lava rock to cool down after coming out from the volcano itself. As they say: brand new, zero miles. Thank you for sharing your beatiful country.
It’s Guatemala. 2.5 hr flight from Miami. We have 3 active volcanos, the Fuego and the Pacaya can be seen from Guatemala city. The Pacaya is the one you can hike up close.
I think you said your guild was was Buzz whatever his name is what a fun job to see that every day and get paid to do it. I love my job just like you love machining but damn ya know. Thanks for sharing and keep having fun ya'll!
Adam, you made a wise choice about not climbing on a Horse. Don't know your level of horsemanship, but even the most mild mannered steed can freak out under the right conditions (Rattlesnake, Bear, etc.). Bob Baffert, trainer that won last Sat.'s Kentucky Derby, had two Horses in the Race and was forced to scratch his "Good" Horse because it freaked out in the paddock right before post time and injured itself.
A doped up race horse is a bit different than a regular horse. Those horses are so strung out on anabolic steroids. That's like comparing a minivan to an F1 car.
@@xenonram, Yes Sir, you are absolutely correct. Trying to keep it short, I didn't explain that I wasn't trying to compare the two, but just trying to point out the fact that Horses are live creatures and not some mindless machine and even under what is perceived as controlled conditions can do the most unexpected things sometimes.
If you are lucky, you'll see a fox. I know where a semi domesticated one is. It is regularly fed cat food. It is beautiful. Up in Woodland Park, Colorado.
If you record in a higher resolution than the resolution you want the video to be viewed in you can kind of crop the video to get a really steady view.
A&A, did you by chance plot your trip on Google maps to share with your fans? I would like to follow your route next summer. You can establish the Abom Adventures travel library.
Welcome to colorado the land of the gun jumped weather forecast. It wasn't monday or even tuesday, but instead wednesday morning for the snow. 09/09/2020 5 AM I'm looking at a blanket of 6 inches easy 100 miles east of your spot. Checking with colorado DOT highway cam network I can see even you guys got at least 3 inches. So I made plans according to the weather and the weather is wrong so there go the plans. It's the rural life and the weather bureau makes everybody enjoy this rural aspect to some degree in colorado. Strange is the source for the water vapor, some kind of plume coming up from the driest part of new mexico has bands flowing north and I must have been under one of the heavier bands. But there is no water there, I remain pleasantly mystified. Ancient history, but 27 million years ago the worlds largest volcanic ejecta explosion occured 80 miles to the southwest of you very near creede. Of course that's the ones that we know of and also of course found so far. La Garita Caldera Eruption with twice the ejecta volume of any Yellowstone event known. It's extinct, relax, but talk about your volcanoes. Nice ride, did Abby not want to drive?
Certain types of dogs will flush out wildlife ...and even herd them toward you! There could be 40 bighorn sheep right beside you and you wouldn't know it. But a dog would.
She said that she didnt see any animals. Riding noisemakers will chase them away. Off roading on a road with a guide so you can stay on the road. Hmmmm.
