Dude it’s so cool seeing your creation out there on the trails now you know when you build the fully independent suspension one you just ad 6 inches of ground clearance and get rid of the yard cart tires and get some quad tires it’s all trial and error

I know the video doesn't show how steep those climbs were, but the Buggy was impressive from beginning til end. Looked like once it was out of all that thick mud though it really shined and showed what its capable of, aka the suspension did its job. Thanks again for awesome content.

Definitely needs some sort of shielding to keep the torque converter dry as belts hate water (water acts like lube to belts) maybe he could even duct some air from the engine to the cvt with a bypass for when the belt gets wet to act as a belt dryer.

Definitely, there is a reason why atv's that are belt drive are completely sealed also keeping it dry and keeping the dirt and dust out of it will tremendously improve the life span of your belt my 750 brute force started leaking around the cvt belt seal and I shredded the belt extremely fast. Once I fixed the leak I replaced the belt and haven't had an issue since that was 3 years ago.

Run a chain drive with a real clutch , thats how i run mine motorcycle motor way better then these glorified lawnmower motors and garbage belt drive

Saw you on Red Beards video of same run. Thought I would check you out. I subbed. Nice video. Pretty rough terrain there. I bought a Monster Moto 212cc adult mini bike early summer. Bearings to jack shaft went out after 15 miles. Replaced their $2 bearings with $30 bearings. No more trouble there. Now the CVT is stalling after I stop. May be it is not sliding on shaft right. Special lube needed I think. I am 63 and it just beats me to death on rough ground so it may be sold or traded this coming spring. The thing is geared for trails so it tops out at 28mph with me on it but it gets there is a big hurry if you push it. Heavy made frame too.

Really good shake down run!!! That's why the big dogs (manufactorers) enclose their CVTs!!! And I think this is a good enough reason to put a shell on the front, a windsheild on and maybe even a roof!!! In regards to the noise, you could use some pipe insulation with the sheet metal or use plastic instead. There's this stuff called corroboard - think of cardboard; now use plastic instead of paper!!! Can't wait to see what you come up with next!!!

Dude that was awesome too bad the trail was not cleared it looked as if the front suspension was working great. The trail didn't look too wide,.. And I don't trust your roll bars. A tow strap is a must. Maybe a spare belt or a belt tensioner. That looked like a blast Just curious where are you located,... man that was some great footage trail riding is the best. It looked like the area around dillon dam in ohio.

My dune buggy had a 50 cal water tight can attached to the floor pan. Inside was first aid kit, tow strap, 2 bungie cords, 1 ratchet strap 8 thru 17mm wrenches, and a spare belt. Might be a good idea to add your own version.

Allright!!! That looked fun! But lets face it, your gokart wasn't up to the task. Time to step up the game by building a proper crosskart (look it up) using the cbr600 engine instead of these toy engines. The independent suspension and bigger tires will help a lot! Wow, that thing impress me. that was some serious trails. i know the camera doesnt even do it justice. heres an idea for a simple "Rhine mode" or reverse, use an electric motor with a centrifugal clutch, gear it down so its kinda slow, you wont even need any kind of controller for it, just use like an on off batterybreaker you use like on a camper or a boat. just an idea you know, thats what i would have done probably

I was glad to see you running on that rough terrain. I am in the process of beefing up an old hammerhead 250 for my daughter to run on similar terrain with us in the Ozarks. I was a bit sceptical about it keeping up after the time and money spent on it, but seeing this video set my mind at ease. I am confident that the mods on the hh250 will not be a waste of time. Good job on the video and happy trails.

a suggestion to fix your belt slippage is to build a case for the cvt so that it is protected from the elements much better.

what would really help ur buggy is a smaller dive sprocket on the low gear along with bigger tires get ur back end and ur axle and sprockets up off the ruts and rocks i ride a 1999 honda 400ex witch is a chain driven race quad so mine draged on every thing when i have small tires like 20s really like 18 and haft because the people selling tires for race quads cant use a tape measure but just going to a set of real 22in tires makes so much difference it gose from stuck everywhere in every rutted mud hole having to get pulled up rutted hills stuck on rocks all the time too out doing off road quads and small side by sides just cause its so much smaller more maneuverable

I would just like to let you guys know I have really enjoyed you collaboration and hope to see it again soon. I live in tn and would like to go to that trail if anyone can go for you know where it is at and what its called. Thanks edit: I think your offroad go kart did really well I would like to see it in the sand it reminds me of a rail buggy and would bee cool to see how it would do there. I would like to see a snorkel for your builds where I live we get rain all the time and im scared to use one of those exposed filters because of driving through all the water

Getting soaked hitting water puddles yep I hear you broski I have a go-kart pretty similar to that nobody does no justice LOL I'm usually a little wet moist and spongy by the time I get home to wish I could be out there with you
