I'm absolutely in love with the gardens around this home. After visiting Anthony and Kirra I started learning more about syntropic agriculture and I'm so excited about the possibilities it presents. It's always so inspiring to meet people who are so focused on solutions instead of problems. We as humans have such a great ability to be a regenerative force on the planet and it's so nice to be reminded of that. I hope you all enjoy the video tour of this beautiful off-the-grid home and regenerative garden. Love Bryce & Rasa
Lovin this one. Didn't catch details so do they own the land? If so that's the only way to do this right way. Permits and own land. Otherwise just a glorified trailer park community paying someone else lot rent.
Hi Bryce, just wondering if you'd heard of the Social Bite Tiny House Village in Scotland for homeless people. When travel's allowed again, I wondered if it might interest you. Cheers and keep it up.
I’m 14 but I’m saving up by working for my mom to build a tiny house! I’m very excited because it will teach me how to be independent financially and socially:) the plan is for me to start building when I’m 18! My parents are extremely proud of me for wanting to do this😊
He's nice, and I love this channel....but video after video, his dialog gets repetitive. Kirsten Dirksen does a great job of letting the environment, the home, and the home owner tell the story.
Absolutely agree. There are other Tiny Home you tube channels but none of them can hold a candle to Living Big and the genuine charisma of Bryce, the presenter!
theguythatcouldfly So interesting - I watch her videos from time to time, but don’t care much for her interview style. I generally find the homes she visits to be very interesting, but I find her repetitive and boring. Go figure🤷🏻♀️
At the time of this filming he has grand kids. Their relationship is only 14 months old. She said she slowly moved in while he was away working for 2 months. He got back and they decided to keep living together.
You know your (you're) becoming adult when you know the simplest grammar. Before mastering that simple task you're just a stupid kid ... or an American. And you don't wanna be either, right? =^.^=
Hi Bryce and Rasa. I'm 21 years old, from India, studying medicine. Amid all the stress last year I luckily stumbled upon one of your videos and since then, I'm addicted. Your videos help me relax and honestly, I loved the idea of living simply, close to the nature so much that I've already designed three to four tiny houses on my phone using an app and your Instagram handle and videos help me to be more innovative. It's just so peaceful to watch them.. And I've planned that one day, I'll definitely own a tiny house. I've basically added it to my list of goals in life. Fun fact: since now I know your height is 6'4", it helps me estimate the height of tiny houses and the lofts in the videos. Hehe. 😁I just love everything that you two put efforts in with so much love and dedication. Thankyou for inspiring and motivating me.❤️❤️💙💙hope you'll read this.
@@Beristic Hii. So initially I tried using SketchUp..but it was very difficult for me. Like you need to learn how to use it. But I was so excited, I couldn't wait. So I used two apps. One is 'Floor Plan Creator'. This one is very basic and simple to use, available for free. It gives the basic idea how the floor plan will look. The other one is 'Home Design 3D' but this one requires some payment. It's a good app for the price though. I'm still learning how to use SketchUp though..💙Hope this helps.
Tiny house, off grid, solar energy, rain collection, permaculture, good flow through design, inspired outdoor living, all combined to make a fine home. This requires much interweaving of broad knowledge. Well done. Texas
@@ugqueen omg I want to move to Africa so bad it’s like I have a connection to the motherland pulling me in. I just don’t have the funds to follow🤦🏽♂️
This tiny house has reminded me of my grandma. She used to live in a simple and tiny house surrounded by nature and garden. She was a petite woman but was so peaceful and happy. Luxury doesn´t always bring us happiness.
Many tiny-housers I see on this show live with one huge luxury: somehow they don't fear that someone will come along and rob, vandalize or destroy their homes and gardens, when that would be so easy to do. That is one luxury that surely brings happiness, a precious luxury!
Grandparents are the most amazing gift. For those lucky enough to still have your parents/grandparents, PLEASE let your children enjoy every minute with them. They are the best treasure in life. Record them, ask tons of questions. Memories forever.
Hi Bryce and Rasa. Wow! Thank you so much for capturing our home so beautifully. Seeing it from an outside perspective makes us realise just how lucky we are, with what we've been able to create and participate in. We love your shows and your passion to share the alternative living movement. You are inspiring others and allowing them to deeply understand and know that there is another way to live, not just exist but live well, fully and thrive. Love and hugs from Kirra and Anthony
@@debbiemohekey1509 - absolutely! We coulndt afford a proper stove so a friend made us a little fireplace out of a large gas cylinder which we can cook on - works pretty well!
All the tension in my body just melted away watching this video. You can almost smell the gardens around the house. What a gift you've given us. Thank you, Bryce and Rasa!
I have severe insomnia and at nights I usually end up watching Tiny homes...without fail the episodes cheer me up and I end up sleeping soundly after watching either one or two episodes. The homes are lovely but it’s Bryce’s calmness demeanour that makes you feel all is going to be well in the morning when you get up. It’s therapeutic ...almost😍
Your conversation with them regarding.. reducing the use of plastic and whole environmental friendly solutions is so precious.. You could have just skipped out this part.. you could have just fouced on the interior of tiny house.. But you didn't.. Thank you.❤️ All these tiny efforts count. 😇
I think he always makes sure to thoughtfully incorporate the owners lifestyle and their reasons behind it. One of the many reasons I prefer this channel.
The reason they live this way and we don't is because they took that first step to do it and most of us just dream about it... My tiny home will soon be ready in Armenia!!
As many of us globally are being released from extreme lockdowns, one gets the sense how little we are taught in school or affirmed by the media TO NOT buy into the large home, multiple cars, and TVs syndrome. Living simpler with less makes one more free and allows one to ask, how little can we work to sustain our lives? Great episode.
Truly beautiful, and such peaceful and kind people! I love what they've said about how their tiny house has allowed them to live fully according to their values, being off-grid, homesteading, minimal footprint. Absolutely love the garden too and the thought behind it. Thank you for another great film Bryce, Rasa and Benjamin, I especially appreciate the focus on sustainability. This is amazing inspiration for my own similar off-grid tiny home plan :-)
Thanks so much Karla! We absolutely love making videos like this and meeting people who are doing such wonderful regenerative work in the world. It's inspiring and gives us so much hope for the future!
Highly impressive way of living. Off grid, yet a dream. The rooftop for coffee or a cold beer dreaming in an exotic forest. The interior charming. Just goes to show how one can live well, without wasting natural resources and plastic free. This really is a delightful tiny home.
Sooo...can I trade places with this couple yesterday? Heh, what a gorgeous setup, to be surrounded by such gifts of nature. It must be so regenerative to live there and experience that level of peace and tranquility.
I was also just so taken in by the it peaceful presence. Such contentment in their voices. It's just so encouraging to see people living like this, encourages me to work towards what I really want even more.
I thought there was something familiar about Anthony. Turns out, Anthony helped me out over 15 years ago. True and good heart! So happy that I came across this video ❤️ Cudos Anthony!
I love hearing those cicadas. For me, it's one of the best sounds in the world. So calming, peaceful, and alive. We have them in abundance in the South (United States), and it's one of the few things that I love about the region.
@@alessandravalmadre7512 @Alessandra Valmadre Hi! I'm not the original commenter, but I believe they mean the Southeastern USA. I live in that region (Tennessee) and we have cicadas. I love hearing them! They're one of the markers of summer for me. (That and the ridiculous humid heat 🥵) Southwest USA is more desert-like (California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico). I used to live in Southern California (oceanic climate since we were on the coast, climate-wise I think similar to the Mediterranean) and I don't remember hearing cicadas there.
Rasa, your videogrpahy skills are just incredible. that shot at 13:50 of the landscape is stunning and more. Incredible home ans the location is beautiful.
What a perfect lifestyle! I'm teary eyed and a bit jealous. They are a example of living harmoniously with the Earth that not enough of the world's population are doing. PLASTIC BAGS AND CONTAINERS MUST GO! Such an inspiration. Thank you Brice...again !
Wow.. it's so calming there and I love the spiritual vibe I'm getting, that lady is like a real life Disney princess ha she just has a certain flow.. I'd love to sit on the roof looking at the stars 🤩
Everyone in these videos are so friendly and they're very smart, choosing to base their lives around new eco-friendly solutions. I love these videos, they help me imagine my own tiny house and they also calm me down after school. I've definitely been bingeing them haha. Keep doing what you're doing Bryce, your content is amazing!
Have you also noticed how nice all the people commenting are too? I've never seen a channel with as many positive people in the comments (with perhaps the possible exception of Yes Theory. They're pretty positive too. ^^ )
You are not alone either Lily! I am leaving a comment above but, I design Intentional Communities, Farms, Gardens, Pools, Landscapes. Was certified as an "Eco-Logical Business" with City of Portland and gave some well attended seminars at college on all this. And, whenever I have needed to hire Design Assistants always receive many applications from very cool younger people (often college students) who are doing their share of "bingeing" also and interested to learn.
@@goulash75 I think that just the majority of people who watch content like this are more grounded, live more sustainably and have a more relaxed lifestyle. Because of their different view on living.
@@marieselfer6621 I already left a couple comments on this post but I would agree! I work in design of projects like this but it's always nice to see what other people are doing.
What a find! I love that there are people quietly going about creating their lives to match their values and loves. Thank you Bryce and Rasa, for sharing the inspiration you find, and doing it so beautifully. 🥰
when I started the video I thought you were in brazil brice, I saw de mandioca plant beside you the way they arrenged the plants so similar as we do here that made me missi my tiny house in the florest ,
Beyond my intelligence and comprehension but...Bryce in all of your years of videos this is absolutely on my list of favorites!!! God bless you all ❤️❤️❤️❤️Stay safe 🙏🙏
So cool! The roof access and that great veranda are my favorite parts, and all that kitchen storage is great. The humans seem very thoughtful and impressive, but the real star here is the big shaggy dog, though the last shot of the napping kitty almost swayed me.
This space is not only about lil homes and what design we like or not. Movement and consciousness of these people is what Mother Earth needs. Your videos inspire me so much, and make me happy. Thank you for that.
I sm absolutely in love of this tiny house. I am jealous of how wonderful and sustainable they are living, but I am also glad that there are people out there in the world who are doing their part. Thanks for sharing!
location location location make all the difference in the world. Most of us will never realize getting land like this. Awesome home and outlook on living.
True to her values, that really says it all, they are honest to themselves and as a couple as well, they have it all and a beautiful home and lifestyle to share with the grands and friends...blessed for sure...!
Bryce: Love the exterior and can't wait to see the interior. Can we take a look? Home owner: Sure! *Cue welcoming, dreamy, lullaby-like music that makes you feel like you're being transported into the space with them!* Love the design of this house by the way.
I think I say this every-time, but I think this is my favorite tiny house! I love the surrounding nature and that beautiful porch! Just marvelous and breathtaking! Thanks for showing us these amazing houses and people! ❤️
This has got to be one of my favourites. Reducing plastic especially single use plastic is so important I’m so glad it’s an issue that’s gathering more awareness now. And that veranda! Beautiful.
Me and my wife love your channel first off, But this couple this house the way they are so tuned in to their land was just amazing. One of the best we ever have seen . Thank you so much for bringing such a good vibe into our lives, best wishes to you and yours !!!
Bryce...you are by far my favorite tiny home person to watch. You don't actually focus exclusively on the home itself as much as the reason behind why they made those choices and how well it works, what problems they had finding a place, what hasn't worked, what has...and even more importantly that these people doing this aren't simply doing it for financial reasons but trying to be healthier, more environmentally friendly and to me the most important reason getting back to our roots and being able to take back our ability to be self reliant, having the ability to support ourselves and our environment instead of relying on a Government that seems to want to either go back to socialism or a form of indentured servitude of the no longer middle class as the hard working poor.
Welp this is my plan for how I want to live now. They make it look so simple! I can’t wait to one day have a place similar to this that I can call my own!
