I’m Singaporean and in Singapore we have all kinds of races - Malay, Indian, Chinese, Eurasian, Filipino and many more. But the unique language we speak locally is Singlish which is unofficial language …it stems from English and features Malay, Chinese and Tamil dialects. The end result is a unique cultural patchwork that Singaporeans around the world know by heart. Perhaps JKN can try these dialogues: Oh yeh…oh yeh…(nodding head n speaking fast when agreeing) Y u so like that Buy a drink la Shiok (an expression of very enjoyable or pleasing. Food very tasty, delicious) Don’t act blur hor Aiyo Would love to see you guys doing Singlish.
