Another Heckle and Jeckle short. An old recording of a TV print but with the original theatrical ending tacked on at the end, and a rather unique one too. (Heads up though it is rather quiet).
Originally released in February 1952. Directed by Connie Rasinski; story by Tom Morrison; music scored and conducted by Philip A. Scheib. Jim Tyer animated most of it. Roy Halee provides the magpies' voices; the opera singer is Ken Schoen (who usually sang for "Oil Can Harry" in Mighty Mouse's "musical mellerdramas").
Heckle & Jeckle Off To The Opera Original Ending, and Cue Marks, too! Amazing Find! This must be from the Jerry Beck Terrytoons DVD Set (Version 1), which dates back to 2010-2011. The Jerry Beck Terrytoons DVD Set (Version 2), which is the Version i have, does not have the original ending of Heckle & Jeckle Off To The Opera. That is an Amazing Find indeed!
