A look around the ancient Offa’s Dyke between Knighton in Wales and Newcastle on Clun in England. Filmed in May 2020.
Offa's Dyke is a large linear earthwork that roughly follows the current border between England and Wales. The structure is named after Offa, the Anglo-Saxon king of Mercia from AD 757 until 796, who is traditionally believed to have ordered its construction.

Hi Adam, my name is Josh and I am an Archivist for a Science Channel TV show. Do you have an email address I can contact to enquire about asking for permission to use your footage in our show? Thank you.

Hi Adam love your video! Would it be possible to use about 10-15 seconds of this footage for a video please? I will credit and link your channel as the creator of course, only reason I can't use mine is because unfortunately got robbed recently and lost most of my personal footage as a result

@@adamsdrone2770 The Lands End to John o'Groats Trail, I was hoping to highlight the route stages on map, and then showcase the cool scenery from each trail section :)

Hi Jason, it’s the section between Knighton in Wales and Newcastle on Clun in Shropshire. Glad you enjoyed it!

Adam’s Drone thanks a lot. I want to see a good section of the earthwork, and this looks like the one! I'm planning on making a trip soon , but only to see the monument, rather than walking the whole route.

The Newcastle side provides the easiest access, you can drive right to it. Knighton has the Offa’s Dyke visitor centre but from there it is a steep long climb up on foot. The section in the video is an easily accessible gentle rolling section.

Great, thanks a lot. I've found it on the map, so I'll check it out soon!
