My notebook is wet from all these tears, I'm getting free, this is a word for me. And I have gone back to my prison, Lord help me to stop picking up these offenses. Help me manage my offenses. Thank you Pastor Todd

NOTES // Screenshot If Needed. Week 2 of F.U series, Pastor Mike Todd The best ability in this season is availability. DECLARE to the Lord. "I AM AVAILABLE " THIS SERIES IS ABOUT GROWING STRONGER. But how can we grow stronger if we don't focus on our weakness. We must get an understanding at how God wants us to forgive. The church tells us we need to forgive but often forget to tell us how to forgive. ESSENTIAL QUESTION: Most people ask why is it important to forgive? 1. Forgiveness is fundamental to our faith. • All of the extra comes from the fundamental. • We want more yet we don't have the fundamentalS down. • When the game is on line and the pressure is heavy, we end up needing to resort back to the fundamentals. During Covid season many of us have posted a scripture. BUt didn't know the word. Didn't have the fundamentals. • Prayer is fundamental • Worship is fundamental • Generosity is fundamental We can't talk about how much love we have for God but never give any time, any of your treasure or compassion to others. We must embody and imitate the Love God gives us and wants for us to give to other. Forgiveness is fundamental to our faith. If you strip away the lights, the small group. The worship music: what does your walk with God look like? 2. Everything that's fancy comes from fundamentals The reason we must understand forgiveness is because this is a fundamental premise of our faith. Everything people will see and know you for will come from fundamentals. 3. Fundamentals are never natural. You don't naturally do the fundamentals. • They are practiced. • They are corrected. • They are perfected. We must not act as though the day we get saved, we are perfected. There are core fundamentals we may have to work on for the next 3, 10, 20 years. The journey is about Progression not Perfection. 4. Our feelings make us forget the fundamentals sometimes. Things we feel away about: • All the people in my family are married • All the people I know get to post where they travel God has us in a season of fundamentals. 5. "Offense" is the gateway to forgiveness • Offense creates a prison of unforgivness. If we dont address our offense. • Offense is either picked up or put on. • We must control our offense. Somebody falls sick like the president and people say that's what he gets. There is a parallel happening with the world and with the church, when the two are separated. • Offense is the currency of our culture. But forgivness is the currency of the kingdom. That's why we cancel people in our culture. The currency of the kingdom John 18:36 (NIV) "36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.” Jesus said our response is not the same because we don't belong to their kingdom. Heavenly rewards with earthly response is not how it works. Forgivness and offense can easily sway our life if we address and manage it. The enemies agenda is destruction. John 10:10 (NIV) "10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." • He wants to destroy or families • He wants to destroy Purpose • His strategy is division Every team has the agenda of winning and the difference between winning and losing is strategy. The enemies strategy is division Notice: We never see the devil until Adam is with eve. The moment unity came into the picture, the devil appeared. The Bible says where there is unity there is a command blessing. The enemies agenda is to divide. Even if we dont like the same music or we vote the same way, God said we are family. And if we fight for unity then we defeat the strategy of the enemy. Enemies tactic is offense. • Agenda Destruction • Strategy Divison • Tactic Offense We are living in an age similar to the day of Christ. Matthew 24:10 (NIV) "10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other," Many of the offended want to be in agreement with another who understands. And as a result listen to people who may have large platforms or other perspective. Be careful who and what you are listening too. You think its from a source that is right. Yet is false. Then you shall decive many with the skewed perspective you received. Offense leads to a cold heart. John 13:35 (NIV) "35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” The goal of the enemy is to offend people until they have a hard heart because love is the only way we are identified as a follower of Christ. To love one another. Check the offense at the door because if you dont you will build a barrier to your purpose. What happens when God sends the right thing but we think its the wrong thing or methods. DECLARE: "I'm getting free." Proverbs 16:19 (NIV) "19 Better to be lowly in spirit along with the oppressed than to share plunder with the proud." 2000 years ago, a man too every offense and put it on a cross. He forgave us. Led by example. Offense builds the prison of unforgivness. When Jesus said 70x7 is wasnt about keeping score. It was about losing count. Proverbs 19:11 (NIV) "11 A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense." You walk in glory when you let an offense go. Pray for forgivness. Pray for our nation. Pray for unity. Pray for the bereaved. Pray for our leaders. Pray for justice. Pray for peace. Godspeed. Have a great week.

Not even going to lie. This was tough. I’ve been the only black person in the room...I’ve had co-workers say little micro aggression things towards me. While I would love to exist in more diverse environments...I don’t trust my heart with other ethnicities, in particular, white people and this year enhanced it and brought back a lot of things I experienced as a kid. This is tough. I don’t want to be that way...but what am I supposed to do when I’m walking past someone’s car and they lock their doors? Literally happened to me a few weeks ago...Jesus please help me with managing these offenses. I thought I had let it go but this is convicting me big time. It’s going to take me sometime...but I’ll get there. Thanks Pastor Todd. 🙏🏾

It's so hard to forgive those that hurt people you love. Like someone who tried to destroy your husband or your children. That's where I struggle.

I'm in tears ...im an over the road trucker and about 2 hours ago I called to check on my adult son and at this point we had a disagreement which hurt and offended me..this message is speaking to my spirit and telling me to reconstruct my offense...I will no longer be a prisoner... when you mentioned " god show me the glory and god asked to show him my glory " that hit hard... holy spirit help me lay down and let go..thank you so much for speaking to my spirit

I was 5 years of chronic illness. Semi Housebound, lost my health, job, finances and my fiance left me. I couldn't even look at electronic screen for 5 minutes, or hold a 10-minute conversation. But God did an amazing work. And if he can do this, he can do it in you also. 😇🙏 I now have a Christian Channel where I encourage people and show them what God did in my life and that there is hope for you also. *Keep believing even when it's hard* 🙏❤️🙌 *All things are possible with God*

Wow. I was listening to this in the background while I was doing homework and suddenly I felt the Holy Spirit stir in me so I gave the sermon my full attention and I can’t even describe how much this has impacted me. I realized that there are offenses I thought I forgave that still are keeping me from being the best I can be in Christ. I’m floored cause I knew there was SOMETHING going on for weeks, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. Well, now I know what it is. It’s past offenses and current offenses creating a fortress around my heart. The timing of this is incredible. Literally just floored. 😮😧😭

WOOOW Pastor Mike! My goal for 2020 was to find out and pursue God's purpose for my life..I've been so frustrated and now I know why. There's probably no room...😔. I am the only black person at my job, I have been betrayed by friends and hurt by my spouse. My fence was my protection but now I see its actually my destruction. 😢😞 It ain't worth hanging on to it all and missing God's calling for my life.

The devil worked his hardest to cause division in my home, he kept me away from watching the rest of this message for two months . On the verge of losing everything I felt the need to listen to this message. I looked up transformation church and saw a video that was targeted at questioning the pastors walk with God I almost watched it all the way through but I knew that Pastor Todd has only every strengthened my walk with Christ so I made the decision to continue where God lead me. And pastor Todd every word that came out of your mouth God was preaching to me at this moment two months after you spoke this word. This was for me.

Can you guys remember me in prayer? My story begins well IDK where exactly. IDK where I was born let alone the date. When I was little I saw my father killed and it shattered my world. My mother being a woman in a 3rd world country married someone very bad, why IDK..He was a very lost and hurting person for he did evil things, including setting me on fire. I was later put up for adoption which was excruciating pain I cant explain. But in that orphanage thats when God introduced Himself to me. I was adopted by Americans but they were abusive, Im not talking about spankings a few slaps, I mean real hard beatings. I prayed and prayed for God to deliver me from their hands but He never did. I went to college, with everyone laughing at me, I made it and got my degree, a degree I didn't even have a passion for but I was trying to be safe, I didn't want to be homeless again and I had no one to count on but myself (so I foolishly thought bcz I have always had God). I worked with that degree but I wasn't fulfilled more importantly I knew I wasn't doing what I was created for. So I went back to school thinking that was it, again I was laughed and made fun of by professors and was told I wouldn't make it. IDK why they would do this..BUT with God I did pass. I moved to CA for a job, a state I never wanted to come to ever but I needed a job. I came here and not too long after it didn't work out. Then I was robbed three days later and 3 days after that COVID happened. I have been without a job for 6.5 months and I am trying so hard to find a job. I have been praying like crazy. Ive never even smoked a cigarette. I have been so closed and kept my life so private. But I am asking for prayers. Because there is POWER in prayers! Im under attack esp the last few days bcz Im hearing that I should kill myself, you have no one, you are alone, you should have died, why don't you kill yourself. I still have no earthly family, no home and not even a job.....This cant be how my story ends. God is too good and faithful, He wouldn't have me survive everything for just this. I should have depended on Him years ago, I wasn't trying to be bad by not depending on Him I just learned fast I had to take care of myself to survive. I pray that everything I experienced and stolen and lost is used for good, that my story brings light to the darkness and those that are lost are found. I pray God blesses me with latter days that are beyond my imagination. I hope who ever reads this, that you may remember my name and pray for me. God bless you and shine His grace upon you!

this sermon tenderized the mess outta my heart, im triggered and openly offended by so much i woke up so heavy today out of all this week, TODAY was the day i face whats offended me and what ive been working so hard to keep up so i feel validated to BASICLY hate everybody that offended me, cause it sure wasnt love. i grew up in a pentacostal church praised god from a child up til now and i realized i was just like the same people i tried to leave making me ultimately run from myself. today i stopped running. running in circles, running in a pattern, running back tp the offenses that i claimed wasnt a problem anymore. today im getting FREE. never knew i didnt have a desire to forgive because of the offense i had against my family, and in a last minute ditch effort to even rectify why im this way, MY PARENTS and what i felt like they didnt give me in the forgiveness area from a child til now i pay for it cause i never gave them true forgiveness so i felt i wasnt forgiven or had the ability to. thank you Father for thsi day it hurts like hell, but its FOR my good.

I need this message a lot, I am a 13 year old female and I have been sexually abused and it’s hard to forgive I have had “fake” friends and it was hard to forgive for what they did and my younger siblings and when I get upset with my parents who are just trying to help, this message allowed me to think and to re think and I have apologized to the friend and I am starting to not only forgive but to forgive and forget and to let go I thank God for this message and me watching about 2 years afterwards and I want to get closer to the Holy Spirit to learn how to forgive I thank God for forgiving me and I hope for all that have made it this far in my comments for God to bless you and to help you to forgive I love you all ❤️🙌❤️‍🩹

I love that he spoke the offense to and from white people. As a black person these things really really hurt, but God never stopped forgiving me, so I can't stop doing the same. (There's obviously discernment here too - you can't keep running into wall and hurting yourself but the same stands nonetheless). Let u stand apart from the standards, and norms of the world!! I prayed for guidance for forgiveness and to find a church that I can relate to, to be able to understand and and be understood. And again God as answered my prayers. Recently I’ve been enclosed in a bared wire home of defense and offense. I came across a TikTok of this sermon and then found it on here. Im filled with joy and hope knowing I can learn the importance of forgiveness and the steps to take towards it and a closer relationship with the Lord.
