The 11th Ushinishavijaya Puja Day 2 | Taiwan | October 3, 2023
Motivation is fundamental in our practice. Buddha always emphasized the importance of motivation in his teaching. Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche teaches us how to define good and bad motivation and what kind of motivation we should have when offering to the sangha. Rinpoche also shares his personal experiences in Buddhist countries such as Myanmar and Japan.

In Vancouver the Dao Master and I battled to be last in the food lines. Buddhist where a physically violent gang in the food lines of Vancouver. Buddhist have all the trappings of any gang or group. The Vancouver Dao Master and I tried to be last in the food lines using timing and chaos. I won, we both cheated to the last chair in lines of chairs. But I cheated to a chair in the line of chairs behind him. His line filled in front of him. Then a few in my chair line filled in before me. Buddhist were a gang in the front of the line. I don't see you Rinpoches or lamas or guru's in the food lines. Maybe Shaolin Buddhist won because of me. But I'm Wu Dang taoists also. The Dao Master and I meditated on the timing and chaos of trying to arrive last in the food lines. Without saying anything. But we couldn't hide it from each other. He was much older than me. So it was also like a show of respect for my elder or seffu. Even though he never trained me. Buddhist are gangsters in many ways.

Maybe 60 miles away across the border in Bellingham Washington State. It's christian fundamentalist. No Buddhist temples at all. The temple is for taking refuge with Buddha. For refugees. Offerings. If there is a temple. You Buddhist monk's are as human as anyone about Buddhas offerings. Yum candy. .. a fresh fallen not cut or plucked flower, is just trash you clean up. I tested you monk's in offerings. I gave Buddha safety glasses, for protection.

Perhaps one benefit of Sangha would be to help those with surplus distribute worthy and affirming activities as well as additional nutrition; very difficult to channel wealth and merit. A safe , accepting place to be with nutrition for Mind and body is a beautiful place; a type of sacred.
