I work in IT. I would swap out the dress for my flowy jumpsuit, and the white blouses for my flowy linen blouses and tunic, which i wear from spring to fall!

I wish people knew that you don't have to spend a fortune to look good, or to save the planet. Just don't buy too much. That's why capsules are so great. The biggest problem with global fashion waste is over consumption, not just fast fashion. Hear me out. It's true that buying from fast fashion brands isn't good, but I used to be so poor, even after saving up money, I could only afford one pair of shoes, two jeans, and two shirts, and one jacket (from fast fashion brands). No exaggeration. Luckily the weather in my country was mild enough that I could get away with it in all seasons (more or less). Thrifting was not an option yet back then lol. Of course, now that my salary has increased, and I live in a country with unforgiving weather, I had to expand my wardrobe. But I still keep it small and I thrift sustainable items (i.e. high quality natural materials). Not only is it more comfortable on blazing hot days, but it doesn't create microplastics when washing.
Absolutely agree with you, @SkyeAten. Conscious consumption, whether new or thrifted, is the way to go. Your journey and perspective are truly inspiring. Thanks for sharing!

I like short sleeved jumpers in my work wardrobe they are slightly warmer in an air conditioned office than silk or cotton tops but still good for spring/summer
I would swap the dress for a jumpsuit (still looking for a good one!) in a lighter, muted color, and use my chambray cropped trousers in place of the black bottoms. I think I would swap all the blazers for my scarf collection, since I get hot during my train commute to work, then get attacked by AC in the office!
@marcellab1946 From memory, the French quality brand Sézane had a number of beautiful jumpsuits online and in-store. These are long term wardrobe pieces and priced accordingly.
@elizabethdavis1696 There could be potential to become more bored with your Work Capsule if 3-4 pieces are all made in the same fabric and colour. Daria seems to recognise this by including some statement pieces and more quirky pieces, in a range of fabrics, in this 17 piece Work Capsule. P.S. Your suggestion reminds me of Airline Uniforms - which usually work very well. Multiple pieces for different seasons and work duties. I think if you're short of time to create outfits, the Airline model could work very well.
Hi @anniemazariegos621! Yes, combining turquoise and light green can be unconventional but when done right, can be very refreshing. Always fun to experiment with colors!
