I love these reaction vids and witnessing the looks of utter amazement when seeing Tina play. She's a prodigy match only by a handful to ever walk this planet and her ability is an absolute privilege to behold.
I can only second the people who are begging this lovely young woman to reapply herself to YOU TUBE. I can"t understand why she let talentless TROLLS make her apparently QUIT the channel so abruptly. I know i don't know the young lady personally but please reconsider your decision as all of we genuine appreciators of fine music would welcome you back with open arms (virtually, of course)
15 when she did this. And for people that say she shows no emotion...... her guitar playing is her emotion. Plus I'd like you to play that many notes at that speed, and f-ing smile while doing that. She's amazing. Wish she'd come back. Been a while
I concur...all I see is a high level of concentration. Does she make it look easy, she certainly does?! Playing at her level is far from easy, I'm sure we can all agree on that. Many thousands of hours practicing. I think she started when she was 6 and is now 22 yrs old so she has many years under her belt. I would love to hear something original of hers. I personally think Tina is one of the best in the world.
It's not a bad thing, just not used to it. She looks almost bored playing, and tbf, she probably is. She's probably done this exact thing for hundreds of hours, lol. She ain't trying to charm anyone, just lets her guitar do the talking.
Thank you for you spot on comment . That is why we are called artist . We express ourselves though our playing and when we are in the flow you can see and feel it ! Your cool dude thanx again !
She learned both guitarists parts and made it one long solo, which is something that any solo guitarist can do. If you think that's the most impressive thing in her playing, you're probably not a guitar player yourself.
Yes, and also it is said that she went to university and had no time for making these pieces. There is also the possibility that after years of intense dedicated practice and tutoring from a very young age, that she has become tired of it all and having done it to this level has moved on to other things and a life without working on pieces in every spare hour.
@@572Btriode Na her channel is active but she isnt putting out any videoes because like her guitarplaying she is serious about university. She will be back when done with uni in some way or another.
Wrong. She finished secondary School around 2016 and went on to Uni. She focused all her energy in graduating which she did in 2019. She wasn't forced in 'hiding'. She has recently been changing her YT homepage around. As she has recently signed to a music production group and she has been active with original songs on Spotify. But yeah she went inactive because of Uni nothing else.
Herman Lee saw this cover and explained why she plays pieces of both solos. He said that when you pull the STEM tracks for the instruments the two guitars can't be separated so the track that you get is a combo of both and that's what she plays. She is amazing. I wish she continued to upload. Herman Lee even said that it was the best he's seen and he knows who to call when he doesn't feel like playing it.
Because I found her , I foud Steve Vai ( I wasn't cultivate at all in this domain) and then, because she played so... so... cosmic...now, I love electric guitar
"She barely looked at her guitar" - I read that she said one day, asked about this fact, that she is learning the songs like video games - muscular memory. You know, in the beginning you struggle but playing again and again you know exactly where you have to go and where to click (in games) even at incredible speed action. And i think this is a particular efficient way, and extremely hard for the older, non game console generation, to "understand". Yeah we had commodore and later PC games but this was rather "slow paced" stuff :)
Good analogy. I often watch speedrunners playing very hard games, and it looks exactly the same. They read and talk with their chat, while doing unbelievably hard stuff in the game. They seem at ease, but it's thanks to muscle memory and hundreds of hours they spent doing the exact same thing over and over again, that they manage to achieve that.
Just a handfull who does the same as her... We have Cole Rolland and some asian girls like Lisa-X. Sad that she got some hate from middleaged men who couldn't handle that a teenager could play better than them.
Tina S is truly amazing .. a definite prodigy ... If you want another female prodigy see Angelina Jordan at 9 years old performing a studio recording of "I Put A Spell on You" You will be astonished !!
This is the definition of genius level. When you can make sometjimg that hard and technical seem so easy that normal mortals think they can do it or at least try to....
Again, stop saying talent when you mean skill! Her talent is having the drive and concentration to practice 4-8 hours a day every day for years and years. Her skill is the result. Let's all break our guitar strings to hope she comes out of early retirement soon. What a 'talent' she is. Ok, she's also talented at guitar, but truly gents, most of this is sheer determination and having the genetic gifts to be able to move your fingers that quickly. Talent undermines all her hard work. Talent is what people say who've never tried to master a skill.
Wrong. Even if I practice 48hrs per day, i would not get this type of result. She has a HUGE talent plus a HUGE determination to practice as you said. She is one of a kind.
Herman Li (Dragonforce Guitarist) almost shit when reacting to this. He played it off, but imagine practicing all your life, coming up with one of the most difficult solos ever, and it gets shredded by a 15 year old! LOL
I heard this cover so many times since it has been released, it sounds better than the original song! That girl is mental, never knew why she stopped tho
Ladies week - The Warning out of Mexico. As for the bass guitar check out their 15 year old bass player doing a Muse cover by herself. The Warning are 3 sisters at 20, 18 and 15. They already have an EP and 2 full albums and are recording a 3rd. All original songs by them but they learned by doing covers. All 3 trade off the lead singer position, all 3 started by learning classical piano, the oldest plays guitar and keyboard while singing, middle sister plays drums and keyboard and also sings and the youngest plays bass, keyboard and sings though at 15 she does not really like singing lead but knocks it out of the park when she does. They did a South American tour and were just starting a North American tour when things were locked down. They were supposed to be in England this month (September) but of course that did not happen. So they did virtual concerts and wrote enough new songs for more than just their 3rd album. BTW, in the past few weeks they signed a 5 album deal with Lava Records. They have opened for bands like Def Leopard and have gotten compliments from bands like Metallica. Also, Lzzy Hale has talked about how good they are.
It gets better -- in the beginning of the video, you see her guitar teacher (The guy filming the video) say "Take One" and snap his hands together. According to him, they kept that in because that was literally the first take. He swears they didn't splice any of the parts from different takes together to make one perfect video -- that was her playing the entire song through and that they used her first attempt.
I actually this young lady is from France and she is bad ass cause anybody they complain this song to gum be that common collective well shredding the shit out of that guitar is amazing. Herman Lee has react to this, and say this is the best cover up to the fire and flames that he’s ever seen so when will the guitarist from DragonForce has that I have a praise for your cover you nailed it and this girl can play anything she plays Steve Vai‘s for the love of God Metallica, master of puppets altitude by Jason Becker trooper by iron maiden that’s just the name a few more. If you want to check her out, this lady is a bad ass and a whole new level, best female guitarist I’ve ever heard.
This girl here is the best guitar player on the planet! There is not one guitar player she can not play note for note but at the same time add her own style and sound. She does this guitar thing for purely fun and excitement of her craft thus she's no longer on RU-vid anymore I'm pretty sure she went off to college but could be wrong. Just one last note I see comments all over her stuff saying "she's the best female guitar player" Uhhh this has nothing to do with female or male its all about guitar playing and for me she is the BEST. Enough ranting lol play on Tina
You guys have to check out Tina S Amazing gifted gutairest and Sina is a Amazing Drummer doing there cover of the Trooper from lron Maiden on sina-drums
Dragonforce has reached out to Tina S to try and get her to jam on stage with them at one of their concerts. They were very impressed with her playing.
I have to say, I enjoyed this reaction video because you guys had the same reaction that I had. When you see pure talent like this, you just sit back and enjoy. No comments are needed because her talent takes you over! I find it heartbreaking that Tina left social media over horrible comments. If you are seeing this Tina, your true fans love you 100%!!!
@@0ParisFrance My bad. It's only been 4 years since her public has heard from her. Why are you arguing this? No one with that talent should just disappear. I have no idea who you are but I gave you guys props for your review. Now you argue back? Goodbye!
@@0ParisFrance What is wrong with you? What is the last video of her playing? No one cares about pics or text. We care about seeing her play. Why am I even talking to you?
Guys Tina S is a french girl born on 7 of April 1999 in Paris France. She start playing classical guitar at age of 6. And later studied under French jazz rock guitarist Renaud Louis- Servais On 13 she start playing on electric guitar. Tina is active from 2007 to 2016 year.
Tina was not born in Paris, but 30 km south in the suburbs, in ÉVRY where she still lives with her parents and where she has been attending her engineering school IMT-BS since September 2020 !
Look up Lisa X, shes the youngest guitarist who’s endorsed by Ibanez Guitars. She was discovered by Paul Gilbert doing covers of his songs when she was like 10 lol
Need to checkout Junna drum cover of dragon force. It's amazing. And do not forget the impossible hard rock ladies of BANDMAID. Try their live song Onset. They are the rock goddesses of Japan.
If you do a ladies week and don't react to BAND-MAID, you have severely missed the mark, gents. I'll probably get flamed for this, but I swear, Dragonforce has so much going on but there songs always just seem like much ado about nothing. Like halfway through the song I end up feeling like, "That's really impressive, but no thanks, I've heard enough." They're just one note. I've said this to people before, they've given me links to various other songs, but I guess they're just not my thing. Herman Lee seems like a hella nice guy, though. And yeah, Tina S is a super guitar player, goodness.
Tina Setkic has by far the best tecnique an electric guitarist can have. She's classical trained since she was 6 yrs. As you can see in the video she looks often to her left. There is a screen with the notes of the song.
Tina Setkic was born and raised in Paris, France, and (according to her electric guitar teacher) is in a Business school in Evry, France. Her birthday is April 7. It's not creepy that I stan her, LOL
The Warning, incredible three sister band from Mexico. They severely rock. Any song any album , you’ll like it. Queen of the murder scene is an epic concept album well worth looking at.👍🤘
I love how visually you see little emotion on her face yet in all her music that all drains into the guitar pulling you in making you part of her emotion. Love all her music. Thanks for the reaction video! You should do a reaction video for " In A Gadda Da Vida" by " Iron Butterfly" (17 minute version from 1968) Psychedelic Music Classic. You will love it. :)
She could take the easy road to fortune by just playing but not Tina. She is heavily into a college education so she hasn't been in the music arena much lately.
Ok guys.. in the moonlight video she had the guitar on the other leg showing she was classically trained .. but in all of her videos from her you tube page, her facial expression doesnt change... she is just that dam good.. i listen to her often and she does not disappoint any of the times i watch... i do hope she comes back and posts more videos someday.. her fans miss her..

I Reckon its Time the Nightwish Army got in touch you Should have a listen to Storytime, Ghost Love Score, Romanticide, Etc Live Wacken 2013. Have yourselves a Floorgasm. Floor Jansen is the lead vocalist.
I don't want to brag or anything... But, i can play better guitar than her, granted, it is usually while i'm in the shower with a radio sitting on top of the sink...
If you liked Tina S, go and check out Juliette Jade aka Juliette Valduriez who is even better imo... she writes and performs a lot of her own music today, but virtually established "amazing female guitarists" as a thing on RU-vid years ago when she was about 15, from 10 YEARS ago see : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vv066NyKq9k.html or ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Vkj4bU8lozc.html or ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3XIUcRnMoU8.html
She’s actually out of key/badly tuned for most of this. Compare it to the studio version and it’s not as impressive. Don’t get me wrong, it’s awesome but...
She is actually from France boys but I do appreciate your giving a shout out to Canada. I'm hoping you take on Rush at some point being the best band in the world (and Canadian). I suggest "YYZ" in Rio or "Xanadu" from Exit Stage Left. I think you'll like both.
