My mechanism is broken but the cylinder is fine.

Hey, Ryan, Sorry for the delayed response. The best thing to do if your mechanism is broken but the cylinder works is to soak the connection in WD-40 and let it sit overnight. Then try the spray-pound-spray-pound technique until it comes loose. Pound on the mechanism in this case, since it's the bad part - then you won't ruin your cylinder by using a pipewrench or something. @@chairpartsonline7866 Thanks for the response. I bought another cylinder also but I will try your suggestion. I'd like to save the old one to use as a backup if possible.
