I'm a skin scent enthusiast. 😊I love so many on your list. The other ladies in my office wear some heavy-weight perfumes (BR540, Alien, Narciso Rodriguez, Chanel Coco). I love being in the presence of their beautiful fragrances, but I prefer to smell something more toned down on myself: Skin by Clean (purple bottle), Jennifer Lopez Still, Creed Silver Mountain Water, Alyssa Ashley Musk Oil or The Body Shop White Musk, Clean Reserve Radiant Nectar, Sarah Horowitz Perfect Veil, or Burberry The Beat are typically what I go for. I'm so happy you mentioned Daisy Eau so Fresh! I completely forgot about that one and it's such a gem! Thanks, Veronica, have a nice weekend!

Hello Veronica! I work in the medical field and the fresh, light airy type of fragrance is my usual go-to. I find the Prada Infusion line and Guerlain Acqua Allegoria line actually work for my work setting. Although not a skin scent, Tiziana Terenzi Andromeda has become my favorite to use at work, being careful not to overspray. I really love how it smells and its overall performance. 🧡💛💚

Thank you for sharing so many different types of fragrances…many that I hadn’t heard of. Marc Jacobs Daisy is a scent I’ll probably always keep because it’s so easy and pretty. Rose Chocolat (Urban Outfitters) and A Mochi Atelier (Zara) are two of my fav office pleasing scents currently.

Ooh loved your eyelook today! This might sound crazy, I was at Ulta and picked up a mini Hempz banana/vanilla blossom lotion. I loved it so much, I went back for a bigger bottle and body cream. I was surprised at how long it lasted on my skin. Perfectly fits into the clean category. I'm not usually a vanilla person, but this stuff is nice.

The Avon Haiku scents have always been office and close quarters winners for me. They're very similar to the Shi line by Alfred Sung, which are also really nice. That Radiant Nectar sounds right up my alley. 😍💖

We would all rather have an atomizer 😅 but this oil just smells so freaking good I dont mind it, I’m afraid the perfume might not smell exactly like this oil. There are so many from your list that I have never heard of🤔🤔. I enjoy skin scents when I’m just chilling and lounging around at home or as bedtime scents😍😍. I’ve just sprayed Glorious Oud Royale Blanc (Musk Therapy inspired version) and I think it’s going to be part of my skin scent category😉😉. I finished Lovely last year and I was using it as my bedtime scent😍😍. Manifesto is just another beautiful one but I haven’t seen it for quite a while😍😍. Great list as always👌👌. Stay gorgeous🥰🥰.

Beautiful. I prefer the first Skin fragrance, as well. I used to wear L'Occitane The Blanc or Estee Lauder Sensuous to the office. Garden Botanika made an Almond cream body moisturizer that was outright divine. Heart sounds pretty but $50 is indeed steep. Vanitas eau de toilette is a good option for someone who wants a floral that is not loud. The Sage Lifestyle's Pearl perfume oil is another soft fragrance. Tender Musk by Al Musbah. Josune is now on my Try List - Thank you. ❤

Hi Veronica great video I absolutely love Givenchy Pi. I need to get some more. I used steal my friend’s 😏. I had a similar reaction to Lovely. I smelled it again recently and it wasn’t so bad - reminded me of Narciso Rodriguez. I wore Ck one when I was pregnant with my first. It ruined that perfume for me. I may revisit I am hoping after nearly 30 years I might be able to tolerate it. I am off to see if I can get a couple of the ones you mentioned. When some of the fragrances are discontinued and I haven’t tried them it feel like the one that got away. 😞

Hey Veronica! I didn’t know L’Occataine made fragrances. I need to look into that because the white bottle sounds amazing for bedtime. I’ve never heard of any of these gems (probably because they are skin scents and I prefer beasts 🤣🤣) I do have the Jessica Parker and I’ve never worn it. Too light for me. Maybe when my nose matures I’ll be able to appreciate a skin scent 🤞🏾

What a great variety! I recently ordered EA Green Tea, but in error I was sent EA 5th Ave, **Body Lotion**.. I absolutely love it. It's a soft floral, a perfect skin scent that lasts for hours. As you move, the whiffs of fragrance are very apparent. Lovely scent, and moisturizing (silky). In the same order, Lalique Amethyst ECLAT body lotion arrived. Whew.........a floral beast! Amazingly different. I could not see myself buying the perfume. ******* Veronica, if you have tried both the OG 5th Ave., and ROYALE, which did you prefer? I haven't tried ROYALE, but know it's been a very popular flanker (there are so many)! Francine

Hi there! Sounds like a happy accident with the 5th Avenue body lotion! I have tried the original 5th Ave but it's been a long time. The Royale is lovely but lasting power is sort of weak. Without a side by side test, I'm going to guess that the original 5th Ave us more friendly for day to day wear, so perhaps I'd choose that one? Not sure! 🤷‍♀️

Good morning gorgeous 🌹 thank you for sharing your thoughts about soft and close to the skin fragrances. Wonderful suggestions and some of them are surprising, like Yes I Am, which I thought was a projecting scent since it’s mostly suggested for date nights due to it being so delicious and sexy. Lately I would spray myself with fragrances head to toe and my clothes, and still hardly detect a scent 🙃 however today I wore the same tank top that I doused with light blue sun a couple of days ago and I was able to smell it for a bit while working out at the gym 🤣

@@VeronicaSays I've heard from others that once in a while we need to take a break from fragrances and not use anything for a day or two. When you come back and use perfume after the break, your sense of smell will be heightened. I've only tried it once for a day and I think it's true. Have you tried taking a break from fragrances and did you feel a difference in your sense of smell?

Garden Botanika Heart 😍! I loved that store. Do you like musk oils? They can be great as skin scents, especially because oils tend to stay closer to the skin, and it’s easier to control the amount used vs a spray. My favorites are Skin Musk oil & Egyptian Musk oil :).

Kiehls Original Musk is my go-to, oil or spray...there's Skin musk by parfums de coeur (used to be Bonnie Bell) oil and spray, it comes a circular bottle with a green top, it's pretty inexpensive but ppl really love it! Those are great office safe musks.

I agree with you on L’Occitane. I wish their fragrances lasted longer. The verbena line - beautiful, but zero longevity. I hesitate to purchase this again, but it’s so pretty and uplifting. I’m learning to appreciate less projecting skin scents again. Still, I do like to experience my own scent bubble. 🙂

I really love the L’occitane Terre de Lumiere but unfortunately it has been discontinued! I was able to find the travel size of the parfum and the lotion and shower gel. My favorite scent is the L’occitane Almond line- so unique and fab but no perfume! Could you please recommend a scent that has almond as the base?

Hi Judith! L'Occitane almond fragrance line is 🤩🤩🤩 Almond base... hmm. I don't know if I can recommend any that are heavy almond in the base but look at reviews for Valentino Donna Acqua (discontinued but worth hunting down), Elie Saab Girl of Now, Al Haramain Junoon Rose, and Laura Mercier Almond Coconut (perfume and body cream).

Hi there! I would say Lovely is perhaps more "dense" in "texture" than Jovan Musk although Jovan Musk is a good one for this category also. Any category of fragrance can be a skin scent, meaning it stays closer to you versus projecting far out into the room where other people can smell it from far away. Hope that helps! Hey Maryam! It just depends on what I'm doing that day or other factors like the temperature and whether it's misty or a complete downpour. I do like comforting sweater fragrances on these days like musky or gourmand scents or sometimes the other direction - masculine scents like Jazz Club from Margiela. How about you?

@@VeronicaSays Thanks for your reply! Personally if I'm working at home, I like to wear a perfume that reminds me of wet vegetation and flowers, like floral aquatic or a perfume with watery notes. For example one of my go-tos on these days is Secret Gardenia by Miller Harris. I'm sure there are better ones that can remind me of wet plants and trees, etc, but I don't know many. On the other hand, if I'm going outside on a rainy day, I have a hard time to choose a perfume. I'm still looking for the right one.
