Officer Speaks About Accused Child Killer’s Parenting Before Young Son Died

Officer Angel Roman from the Baregat Police Department testified in the murder trial against Christopher Gregor Thursday. Officer Roman said he performed a welfare check on Gregor’s son, Corey Micciolo, in which he noticed scrapes and bruises on Micciolo. The officer also detailed a separate time while he was on patrol and randomly saw Gregor and Micciolo playing at a local football field. Gregor is currently on trial for Micciolo's death.

True. Well usually on a welfare check cops will end up harming or killing somebody, but leaving a child with the criminal or evil. It’s just how they are trained. Cops I think it’s to blame for the child’s dealth as well. If you look at Christopher, the father, he looks just like a typical cop. He just has that smug and emotionless look in his face.

You’re so right if they went to a domestic disturbance call and they saw either party with bruises and scratches. They would both be taken into Police for questioning. But for some reason when it’s a child, they just ignore it that they should pay more attention to and give more weight not less.

I tried to get the boy's but CPS never found enough evidence. Boy's are adults now, have issues and diagnosed with Childhood PTSD.. ..I will forever feel guilty.. 😢. I don't think he even deserves a trial or a defense just send him staight to jail. His parents did a horrible job raising him. The mother has her problems but she managed to take care of and had help takjng care of her son all this time trying to do right. She did tried to save her son. This scenario was done to me when I was a kid. Long story short I was locked up in the county jail while my parents deliberated what should be done with me. I ran away from home over 20 times and tried to tell classmates and the school councilor many times. I was not helped, I was reviled, and humiliated from every adult

I was questioned about my broken arm in front of my step dad and I was scared to say how I broke my arm. I told them I fell off the swing set cause that’s what my step dad said to them. I wonder if he's married with kids. In the past, more policemen were married with kids and thus had more experience of child care, better instinctive observation and more wisdom in general. The problem is the system is trying to save money by cutting corners in the training and they desperately need people to become police officers to fill the positions. It's common sense. Even a man without children who plays video games could know that, what the difference is, is how naive they are a person from their experience. That's why training is so important, everyone has a different perspective and life experience and they may not be generally street smart enough to comprehend situations like that.

I told a doctor who asked where I got all my bruises when I was a child, I pointed at my mother and said she did it....they both laughed. They should have separated Corey to talk to him, but I doubt he would have said anything due to his dad being near. Sad that they seem to be making it seem that Corey got all his injuries playing football, like he was clumsy. I was a soccer goalie at his age and with no padding, diving to protect the goal, I never had bruises all over my body, lacerated my heart or my liver. These 2 cops let Corey down as much as the other adults in his life.

Two things: I've worked in a gym. They do not allow a child that young on the machines. second, a child with that many bruises (didn't he say his legs, arms, and forhead)doesn't raise an eyebrow?

I PRAY this little boys momma goes after every single one of those who she called and went before and begged for help.. I hope she sues the living mess out of the State! That judge who denied that emergency order should be ashamed!! Even if he took Corey and placed him in a facility for a few days to make absolutely sure he should have done something!

I'm so glad these young officers are being trained to see multiple bruises and injuries and not even think to separate the child from his alleged abuser.. sarcasm here. The courts, protection services, the father, grandparents, and now the police have all FAILED COREY 🤬🤬

Absolutely failed Welfare check, they didn't separate the child from the dad. Corey was scared of this guy and he wasn't going to say anything bad about him when he is right there in front of him. Terrible questioning from the defense.

I know it's frustrating, but these defense attorneys are doing a their job. If they didn't do these things, it would make it easier to claim insufficient council when it's time to appeal. I know it's hard to hear, but it's essential.

If the child told the officer he fell on a treadmill why wasn’t the next question what were you doing on a treadmill? Also diving for a catch at 6 years old with his dad at the high school football field. This man was running that poor baby into the ground every chance he could get
