This game was 3 days old when you made this video so they couldn’t really do anything except celebrate how much a success among us vr release was, but this is 1 year old now they have polus point which is polus in the official among us game, and have custom settings, so now everything is being like the official game, hope you can make a new review on it and also this released for PSVR2 or PS5 and also released for the PICO.
Yeah man I completely and while heartily agree. In the official version people take it seriously, which I’m not saying only play the game and talk about nothing else. It’s fun as hell memeing around with people while you’re doing tasks. But in VRchat people don’t even play the game.
First time I played vrchat among us a kid kept repeatedly hitting the emergency meeting button and kept trying to eject random players for either not talking at all, or being "suspicious" even though the only one killing people in the game was him, by trying to eject people
It's definitely important to note that, at the time of writing this, among us VR is like a week old. I think that over time, the official game will gradually improve to the point that it's equal to or better than VR Chat. Also, if you're having issues with that task thing, I usually just play with the map kinda floating above my head so if I get lost I just look up. In case you don't know, you can move the map with the little bar under it.
Another problem with the VR Chat version of Among Us which is small but can be big for gameplay is that the official Among Us hides your hands while playing while VR Chat does not so it can easily be spotted to pick out the imposter if you see them just wobbling their hands in the air doing nothing when on their screen they are in the menu!
I actually kind of liked having to open my map. It allowed me to plan where to go and what the best route was. I will admit for my first playthroughs I did spend most of the time in the map, once I got used to it it was all fine. Also (no offence to anyone who uses anime avatars or likes anime) being in a lobby with 3 small anime schoolgirls that are really 50 year old men is not great
To be fair, the unholy amount of little kids in the official game absolutely 100% easier to troll and mess with. EX: Chasing a 8yr old kid saying that your gonna kill him until he starts to cry in fear I know it sounds terrible but in game its the funniest thing I've done in VR and the poor mic quality makes it better. The best part is anyone over the age of 13 wont even vote you off if they hear you say "I'm the imposter," "I'm going to kill you," etc.
I like both, yet I would play the official version more just because you're not stuck doing nothing and watching from the sidelines. They do need to add more features and setting adjusters for matches. Well done video homie.
the problem with the vr chat version is whenever i play any games like among us and murder there is always a mirror couple who sit there and dont actually play the god damn game
the thing that I dislike about the VRChat version is that, because VRC is a social platform, many people just hang out in the game and don't actually play it. Among US VR has my point on that aspect because, well, its actually among us so people are there to play it and not just hang out.
I just want to say that without the popularity that the VRChat Among Us got, I don't think Innersoth would have had a big push to create their own Among Us in VR. The fact that (I would assume) 1 person, or a few, created a fully functioning, working, 3D version of Among Us, IN A SOCIAL GAME, is mind blowing. I've played the VRChat version myself and it has been a blast. Both versions look very fun to play.
Yeah, you can use avatars that define you on VRChat, but this is also an issue because you can look in the vents if you're tall enough and just say if someone's venting. It's a problem with both the vent system and avatar system for the VRChat version
Well I don’t have a quest so I’m gonna safe up for one so I’m gonna be on the regular one, because if I’m in vrchat there won’t be much players on vrchat one
the problem with among us vrchat is that 1. The avatars are too game breaking, use huge avatars to see things that others can't like when people vent, use tiny avatars to drive by kill people, etc. 2. People won't play the game and just sit around and when you ask if they are gonna play they say some shit like, "Your ruining my vibe" and 3. The game is kinda broken on vrchat there will be moments when people won't be ejected, and they are like "Well you guys didn't vote me out." (kills again) Tries to vote out, nobody was ejected. I think vrchat among us is fine, with friends but going to a random ass lobby there is a 90 percent chance that people aren't playing, stand around just talking, or use huge ass avatars or tiny avatars to cheat.
offical among us vr is just way better in my opinion vrchat ver u can be any avatar so u can see a giant person wich is annoying. some ppl just dont care and just talk while doing noting. u can use ovr
the problem i have with the vrchat version is because i dont have an oculus link and my standalone quest just makes the among us game run at 15-25 fps which really pisses me off sometimes, i see myself buying the official one and playing it a lot with my friends.
My problem with vrc among us is how many e-daters sit there and dont do anything and just sit in silence and not vote but when one dies the other decides to turn their mic on and yell at the imposter since the dead one knows who the imposter is
The ghost system doesn't work in vr. In the normal game, you can do some crazy imposter plays as a ghost. You can save your teamate with a door as they run from a body, you can see where people are and choose a sabotage if they start to get close to a body or try to call a meeting and more. In vr you have no idea where people are, you cant go through walls, and closing doors really doesnt do anything besides slightly slow down the crew.
Honestly… the official version is better in every way, it just feels more like among us and also feels like it had way more effort put into it. Also ten bucks is really cheap for a VR game. Oh yeah and I left out one more thing,in vr chat you can make your avatar whatever you want, including either a tiny ant that can’t be killed or a giant monkey that can see the entire map. The official is way better. Also I don’t know if it’s just me but none of his complaints for the official version apply to me. I didn’t even notice any difficulty finding tasks. Except for the settings but the settings are already good anyway
Tasks turning you around probably means the direction the headset thinks you’re turned around so you can probably counteract this by resetting your position on the headset or turning around prematurely
If map devs had the ability to block certain avatar sizes (or at least give that ability to those who start a session) then I feel that a lot of the issues I have with the VRChat version would be gone. While doing things as a ghost would be cool, I understand the limitations of the game exist.
Among Us Vr has released a roadmap, they’re gonna add more stuff and fix some bugs. But I would say maybe wait a bit for some new updates then it might be worth hoping on.
VRChat is litteraly free, why would parents buy 10$ when VRChat is free. I think over the long run, the official game will have much more mature audience
because the vr chat version has just people sitting in cafeteria talking to each other and not playing the actual game. also the official among us game has a way better style and better tasks that are actually optimized for vr.
You can keep the map open, and you can also put it down at your feet or above your head so it isn't obstructing your view, so all you really have to do is look down or up, which is way easier than just opening the map over and over again. Also I never really had a problem with the task turning me around, I did however have a problem whenever I went up to a task, it basically teleported me a few inches back, so I couldn't reach the task with my hands and I had to use the telekinesis thingy to do the task, and that kind broke immersion. You also gotta realise that the game JUST came out, so there will be a lot of changes to the game sometime down the future. I also hope that when they update the game, the add some sort of little tablet thing you could hold in your hand to vote, instead of having a giant tv in the middle of the room, so we could have more immersion.
I would see myself playing the official cause in my opinion ots more fun with like 5 or 6 year Olds in there and it's really funny but overall it's just better in my opinion not saying the vrchat is bad it's just a little low quality and cramed for me the official is way more spacious 😊
btw no offense but the task to look for is a dumb reason cause u can just grab the map with your trigger to look around also everyround i join in vr chat there someone ruining the game with big skins but i think your reasons are valid and vr chat will be better for a little bit till among us vr upgrades keep up the good work :)
you cant always vote people out in vr chat, it glitches out, also you are comparing a brand new game that just came out to an older game with still the same issues that it had 2/3 years ago, at least among us vr has a development team that's actually working on bugs and letting people help them test it out
I just like out the map is like 1 to 1 VR chat I was trying to be a copy but with the new game the map just felt bigger and felt like I was actually there

I’m just ganna say it the official game is 10x better 1 prob is every game i get into there’s that one teenager saying cuss words every 2 seconds 2 prob is it takes a while to actually find a server with peaple in it I admit the official game does take 2 try’s every once and a while but this is my opinion so bye

bro your points are so baby like and can be easily fixed. the ofiicial game is so much better. almost all of the points you make can be avoided or i just dont care about them because they are so small. like the thing where you turn around is not a big deal. so is the settings thing.
