Official announcement for Falcon's Fury, coming to Busch Gardens Tampa in 2014

In Spring 2014 Busch Gardens Tampa is taking guests' experiences to new heights with Falcon's Fury, the first drop tower of its kind in the world.
Falcon's Fury will stand at 335 feet and at the ride's highest point, Busch Gardens has added an element of surprise. Riders will pivot 90 degrees in midair to a face-down dive position. An instant later they'll plunge 60 mph at 3.5 Gs straight down with speed and power like they've likely never experienced before.

I went on it before i was scared shitless up there but the should make it taller so the drop can last longer but still weather or not they make it taller i can't wait to get back up there

For people who are curious about Height Requirements, On a web video, construction workers for the ride explained that you must be 54 Inches to ride which is 4'5 feet tall, Yet this could be changed at any given time. The ride also opens May 1st.

It's still delayed right now as of August 14th, 2014, but I went to busch gardens with my friend and they tested it like more than 30 times! They have to test it 3,000 all fully working times in order to open it, but great news for the ride, staff already began riding falcons fury and they are already starting staff training and more tests for the rides opening, but yet they are still not ready to announce an opening date yet, but from what others and I think is that it's going to open very very very soon! I'm soooo excited for it to open, I have annual 1yr passes to busch gardens and seaworld so I'm going to be right at that ride when it opens!

Claw King I also go the 1yr easy pay pass and I was there yesterday and I saw staff riding it @ like 5:30pm and it looks like a quick fun ride hopefully it be worth the wait

When my dad told me about this I was sooo happy! But then he told me they are getting rid of sandstorm to build it. Then I said I NEVER want to go to Busch gardens again because sandstorm was the only ride I would go on.

Yeah, how tall r u? U have to be a minimum of 54" in height, or 4 foot 6 inches.

I understand It's different than other drop towers. This ride is about sensation. Falcon's Fury simulates the flight path of a bird soaring down to attack it's prey. Riders pivot 90 degrees in mid-air, in a 5 second dive, and at 3.5 times the force of gravity.

+yugioh guy, Yes I know the ride has opened officially, it officially opened September, 2nd. I've already rode it 5 times! It's amazing! Honestly, it's way worth the wait, even if the wait is 2hrs long, it's still worth it.

Yes it is taller then the griffon, i worked there 3 seasons and the griffon is only 205 feet tall (give or take a foot). Falcon Furry should be the tallest ride in the entire park when it is constructed.

Yes, it is taller than the griffon, the griffon is only 205FT, falcons fury is 335ft, so it's 130ft taller, that's a lot!

Claw King That makes it even taller then the Intimidator 305 at Kings Dominion in Dowel VA. However, if they was talking bout the tilt feature, they lied when they said they are the first. Aracnaphobia (don't ask me at which six flags, but it's at one) also tilt riders. Only when it tills you, you're in a position where it look like you are looking at your sneakers!lol
