Love my 2015 q50 (named her "Rocket"). Handles like a dream, and the 3.7 liter under the hood is a work of art. Sport mode is all business, no bs. Best car I've ever had hands down

I did 155 in a 2017 Q50 with the 3.0T. Would never buy one but it made for a really fun rental.

Why is it limited to 148?

Not a 3.0 . Not a2016 the 2016 have a 3.0t and there redline is at 7. The VQ redlined at 7.5

I did 155 in my 2018 Chevy camaro the v6 RS version could of did and should of did 160 I beleive mines doesn’t have a governor its have beaten many g37s bone stock and due to that is because it has an 8 speed transmission due to the g’s having 7 speeds they were right by me but I still won my half a car or more and my camaro comes 335 stock

I'm thinking 4.8-5.4 secs only that the second gear is weak from what I saw. But it sounds great. So it's not a track car because it's weak at speed. I thought all that hp would be insane but they need to shorten those upper gears and even out the fuel curve. I don't like critisizing it but I want to by a G37 and I know it's not a porsche. I guess these cars are a comprimise not full race and not full family commuter. I'd like a nice curve like porsche makes not corvette. And corvette is built crappy. Rented a new to the year vette and the clutch stuck down Mt. Charleston near Vegas. I got scared cause would have had to have it towed but it unstuck. Even the baby boxster did the same numbers and the vette was 400 hp. They both did 6.1 sec. Porsche had 240 hp with the boxster engine. I own one right now.

Had a pull against one last night with my 08 350Z HR Roadster FBO Tuned. I pulled on him, but not by much. Car was quick.

I hit 180 on a tuned q50 didnt go any higher because my tires were vibrating

Depending on what state you’re in, they put a cap on the engine at 1:50 but they can go 180+

The Q50 3.0t sounds different that the 3.7 but, it’s still a very nice sound. It’s about the same maybe a little faster but, once you get the red sport you will be eating 370zs for breakfast

Amazing so many test straight line speed and nothing else. Wish more people compared handling of cars. Guess most just have limited driving skills though.

My brothers STOCK 2018 Infiniti luxe 3.0t hit like 152 & the numbers was still jumping but slowed down cause cars ahead

Sorry, but this is not an honest video. I took a rented Q50 to 120 very quick and effortlessly, and if I kept it floored, it would have went to 160 in very little time. Those cars flat out fly.

I hope you understand, sport mode does not make the car any quicker. It just changes the shift points and holds rpm.
