TRANS-ASIA 21 is TRANS-ASIA’s Brand New Completely Built Vessel. Hope that Trans-Asia will built more Brand New Completely Built vessels and not depending on the 2nd Hand vessels.
The same for most of them.. TA21 is replacing the charter ship TA20 for its duties as TA20 is owned by Starlite Ferries of which her sister is there, Starlite Venus. For TA1neo, its more of a failed investment.
@@shipspottersph I hope all Shipping Companies in the Philippines must phased out the older vessels and replaced with Brand-New Completely-Built ones as part of the Vessel Modernization Program of the Philippines and not relying on the 2nd Hand Surplus ones. TRANS-ASIA, STARLITE FERRIES, and MONTENEGRO are perfect examples of having Brand-New Completely-Built vessels. Other Shipping Companies like Roble, Cokaliong, Lite Ferries, Kho Shipping, Medallion, Aleson, and 2GO will follow the footsteps of having a Brand-New Completely-Built vessels.
I think Trans-Asia need to retire some of their older fleets that are already 40+ of aging and sell them to breakers as we are seeing newer fleets incoming for Trans-Asia.
19 knots is cruising speed. Normal lang po na ganyan ang speed sa regular route ng passenger vessel dahil pag sinagad lagi sa max speed, madaling masira ang makina ng barko at need ng frequent maintenance sa port. Ginagamit lang po ang maximum speed pag emergency scenario, like need makaiwas sa bagyo at makarating sa nearby port to shelter.
Iba na ang status ng roro sa Japan ngayon. Lumalabas na ang cargo priority ropax ship designs sa kanilang operations. Lumiit na ang pax capacity. Humihina na ang pax lalo na at agresibo ang expansion sa Shinkansen lines. Bumibilis ang dugtungan at mas ontime ang arrival di tulad ng barko na tatagal kpag sira ang panahon at mahihilo kpa sa alon. Pero mas cheap ang barko kaysa shinkansen.
Kaya naman pala bumili ng Ph companies ng brand-new ferries galing Japan, bakit binabarat natin ang mga 2nd-hand pagkatapos lalaspagin hanggang sa ibenta sa scrapyards?
2nd hand ships on reputable companies in japan feels like brand new. Taken care with love and passion. Pero meron nmang companies doon na parang Pinas ang operations. Gipit sa budget at mamahaling spare parts. At maganda rin ang 2nd hand ships kasi tried and tested na ang mga equipment, at mababa ang price sa parts kasi matagal na ang parts lumabas sa market.
@@kimpatz2189 Oo wala akong problema sa 2nd hand vessels, kaso ang ginagawa ng mga shipping companies dito (some but not all) they don't maintain them once purchased, nilalarga agad sa fixed routes without having regular maintenance. Hinihintay pa nilang masira yung makina or equipment before they overhaul or drydock.
Naka2pasok kayo sa mga barko (newly aquired/renovated) ang featured nyo ay ang outside appearances lang or yung bridge and accomodations..how about you feature the heart of a vessel/ship na inyong napa2sok? Para makita naman namin kung tlagang malinis ang engine room hindi lang yung taas ang pinapakita nyo..remember engine is the heart of a vessel..brain is useless without here heart
