2:05 diddy always loved Aubrey, Dawn and Aundrea together. He def knew those 3 would make the band. The last 2 spots were mostly between Melissa or Shannon and Taquita or Wanita (D.Woods) or Jasmine
I mean, honestly...it should've went to Taquita. Not sure where she messed up at in the finale episode. But I really liked seeing her with them, now looking back at this episode.
tequita had such an incredible presence. she really was a star. one of the biggest mistakes of the entire show to not put her in the group. id take her over dwoods EASY
Couldn’t agree more. Picking d. Woods was one of the worst decisions for the band. She never got along with Dawn and Aundrea and didn’t even want to be in a band. She later admitted she just wanted to use it for a platform. I wish Taquita was picked. She really wanted it and would have gotten along so much better with the girls
Lawd! I want to like to comment fifty times. Pure facts. Taquita was amazing. She was a good dancer, great singer and had a wonderful personality. I always loved her confessionals. Diddy was an idiot for not picking her.
I don't agree. They based their decision on their experience with the girls. I think Diddy chose the right girls but other factors destroyed the group. They should have played their postions made a few albums and branch on their after being established.
I agree. I was fine with the girls that diddy picked for Danity Kane except for d.woods, I woulda replaced her with tequita. She can sing, dance, got the look and personality to match. I just didn’t understand why she’s didn’t get chosen after the dance battle against Denosh because my eyes was glued to her.
Diddy could have made more than one group. Some of the other girls deserve to make it. I heard he offered Dominique a solo deal but she turned it down 😩.
He didn't want to invest in more than one group. DK was not getting paid as much as we all thought. After their last tour as quintet they lost about $12K
YESSSS! I ALWAYS SAID THAT! plus she didn't even want to be in a girl group. She just wanted to use it to get her name out there. taquita really wanted it and to be in the group! Plus D.Woods was so DULL all season. She didn't do anything that stood out one way or another!
Taquita should’ve made it instead of DWoods … she had such star quality and wasn’t messy … later down the road the messy ones were Aubre, Dawn, and DWoods. Maybe with Taquita wouldve soften the blow if she got chosen instead of DWoods

The whole time I watched the show I didn’t even realize Dawn was on it until she got picked. They barely gave her any screen time and her personality wasn’t memorable at the time. D. Woods didn’t stand out to me either. I would have picked Tequita over D. D just never really fit imo. I would have put her in a RnB group. Dominique and Tiffany had the best vocals, but they needed to be solo acts and didn’t really have the star quality like Aubrey. Aubrey let the fame go to her head, because she started doing way too much to be the weakest vocal wise. She started becoming insecure and overcompensated for what she lacked. Shannon was another one I didn’t realize was on the show until the end because her personality didn’t stand out. I ended up loving the group but I wouldn’t have chosen D. Woods for the group.
I agree with you but I think puff realised that taquita and denosh would be drama for the group. D.woods wasnt standing out but the girl can sing and dance and was easy going through the selection, thats my view. Yeah not sure about Shannon but again it's more about the fact she was sweet and nice which is important for a band, can't have 5 Aubrey
Idk I keep wondering what we didn't see behind the scenes in a later episode thde girls all pick their ideal band and no one pick Taquita. I love her here as well but makes me wonder what everyone else saw that no one chose her
I look at this and realize how much I have grown musically. This bubble gum pop was cute when I was a teenager. Now that I’m almost 40, I find this oh Lala song annoying. Give me some Monica, Whitney, Aretha, Barry White, Shai, Silk, and New Edition Any Day over this crap lol 😂

Y’all do the most about D.Woods. She may not have been featured as much in the competition but she was one of the top tier dancers and you NEVER saw her singled out for singing, dancing, or performing. She had no bad marks so Of course she was picked. Laurie Ann was always on Taquita about flubbing the dance steps and her voice while very good here just did not shine on that touch my body song. The girl was confronted on her arrogance a couple times too. She is entertaining and all, no doubt about it, but she needed to mature. 🤷🏾♂️
