It's an shorten adaptation of the Ace novels. It works as a summary of the two books and add some iconic scenes and some quick panels of stuff that wasn't in the novel such as the previous owner of the Giraffe fruit

@rox5080 basically the same thing. Both the author and the main artist technically "make" the manga. Just like how people consider Murata to be one of the authors of opm despite ONE making the story.

That's a little inaccurate because there are two mangakas for Dr. Stone (Like Death Note for example). Boichi is only the illustrator. The writer is Riichiro Inagaki. They're both on the cover of each volume lol. Before people reply to this, ur in no way wrong, but leaving out the writer or not specifying is giving lazy people misinformation that they'll just run with

0:40 This scene with Boichi's art makes me wanna laugh instead of making me sad I was reading Sun-Ken Rock back in early 2010s before he started Origin and Dr. Stone. SKR has amazingly detailed realistic art, which for Oda's characters seems outta place and funny at the same time. I like the way Boichi draws muscles, like Aces abs, then you see his face which has a child like quality, that's the best way i can put it. but the contrast between the detailed abs vs the goofy facial features is hilarious. Like his Nami vs Kalifa was also hot and funny at the same time.
