I have the Clear Case and two Black Leather Case for S23+. The clear case can be hard to remove. Technique- peel from the bottom and gently flex the case in the middle. Be careful cleaning the leather case! I used a lens cleaner by mistake and the leather case went very sticky. I had to replace it. Overall I prefer the clear case. It's simple, slim and feels good in the hand. I really like that they've kept the bottom completely open.
@@mizo1877 the clear cases are perfectly fine I have apples clear case on my iPhone 14 Pro since launch day and it’s perfectly fine, it’s pretty much the exact same case so it’s fine
You present things very well, but I would never buy that transparent plastic thing that will be scratched each time in contact with something hard and shattered at the first drop. The leather is also not meant to be dropped and will quickly look old 🤔
Great video! I bought the black leather case for my S23+ and it's beautiful, nice and elegant. Top quality material and good grip but not outstanding. I am still tempted to buy the camel color one.

@@franciscodiaz5778 Hi! After five months my black leather case has a little wear to bottom corners, probably due to the continuous friction with the fabric of the pockets and the normal daily use but it still looks good.
Thanks for the review, this is just what I needed to decide the phone colour. I want the black leather case and one of my favourite spigen cases is also black, so I will get the S24+ in black then the camera lenses and charging port blends in with the case.
@@esthetech man if only you could see what I went through with the S22, had to go through 3 warranty exchanges to finally get a decent one, was getting hot as hades, abysmal battery life, terrible janky and laggy performance. Just the worst. Glad snapdragon series went back to TSMC cause I know many SD888 and SD8G1 owners went through similar things.
I got the black leather case and liked it.....until I cleaned it and it now has a sticky, tacky texture I can't get rid of. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the sticky, tacky texture on the case?

I loved the video and the channel. in my taste, i prefer the S23 without the case, it looks better and its original design looks more free and beautiful without the case maybe a silicone cover looks better but i prefer s23 design without the case

I didn’t use it a lot but didn’t notice any scratching. The camera is protected from laying the phone down but to be honest I don’t think this case will protect it much from drops.
I read very, very bad comments of the orange silicone case in Amazon's reviews. That the case peal off in a couple of months, or even less. I don't know about the leather ones. Does somebody knows more detailed info about it to share? Thanks.
It’s definitely not bright but I don’t know if I’d call it pale. A bit pale perhaps but more so muted. Kind of a mango/melon shade. I think it’s a very nice orange, though I know that’s subjective. If I were to use one of the silicone cases, it would be this color.
Is the leather case so protective as the others? It might be too small the gap between the screen and the edge isn't it? Is it tempered glass friendly? thx!
Yup, should be fine with tempered glass. It offers just as good protection as the silicone and clear cases from Samsung, but of course there are 3rd party cases that will offer better protection. But they will also be bulkier and, frankly, uglier. If you really need rugged protection look elsewhere. If you need moderate protection that looks and feels good, the leather is fantastic.
So far, I always buy a lot of cases, only use them at the beginning, after 1-2 weeks I get bored, in the end I don't use a case at all. it's better to save money than not use it, if the smartphone falls and breaks it is also covered by care + 100% free of charge. who cares about all that.
I think this was done to help make it easier to remove the case. Because it’s all hard plastic, there’s almost no flex. If it was closed all the way around it would be next to impossible to remove the case without breaking it. If the edges were rubber/tpu they’d be able to close it all the way around.
Those are a different type of case though, they’re TPU on the sides. Not everyone likes that, especially because it yellows more quickly over time. But yes, perhaps they could have made a hybrid case like that in addition to the all hard case.
To change the clock theme I just went into Always On Display > Clock Style in the settings. You can also download additional styles via the Good Lock app in the Galaxy Store. Download the LockStar component once Good Lock is installed.

I bought 2 x back leather cases direct from Samsung and I was shocked how bad the quality was. I hate to say this but apples were a lot lot better . Felt like cardboard.
Are you sure they were authentic? I’ve found the quality to be comparable, and the Samsung leather cases to even be slightly better quality than Apple’s.

Is it slippery? I have an x level case which is nice because it is not too bulky but unfortunately it is soft so it doesn't help me grip the phone well enough and I feel like the phone wants to fell out of my hands.
@@franciscodiaz5778 yep bought a camel brown leather case last june 12 2023. After just 3 weeks the color changed already considering that i took care of it so well . The silicone case is better in my experience compared to the leather one. Thanks
People planning to buy the green fake leather case. Just don't. The colours comes out fastly. I have been using my phone with all the care IN THE world and still, the edges of my green case are now black, the lower part of the case where I hold the phone for most part of the time lost color as well. The back seems a lot uglier with a few scratches.
