On my second trip to Six Flags after I rode Batman for the first time I went on this and told the op, "I WENT ON BATMAN IT WAS AMAZING" and then afterwards rode Batman again
@@Alothsloth silly sausage, it says front seat point of view, not front seat POV with rider cam breaks and even off ride shots of the coaster kart! Go back to school you condescending twit.
It's the darkness and the scenery that make this ride, since there's lots of stimulation and you can't see where you're going. The layout is just a standard wild mouse found at parks all over the world (I believe this is a mirror of the one at Hersheypark, also built by Mack). The effects make this a unique experience that combine elements of a roller coaster and a dark ride, and it's usually run with pretty lenient brakes so you get some nice laterals and air. It's not too intense, making it a great coaster for those who aren't ready for Batman and Nitro next door. With the park opening up again after the lockdown I can't wait to come back :)
I remember this ride at great america years ago. It was super hyped with crazy fanfare to lure people in, then we got this kids ride. Everyone was super pissed.
i got stuck on this ride for like fifteen minutes. all the lights turned on while we were stuck so i didn't get to see the building on fire or anything... the drops and turns were still fun while it lasted, though.
Story!: So one time I went to the park with my friends and siblings. We were about to go on dark knight and I remember being scared of it but I wasn’t anymore since I had already been on it the month before. Although, the month before We had flash passes. This time we didn’t. That means that before I hadn’t seen the queue of the ride before. My friends were talking about what happens on the screen in the queue when I started to freak out. I’m terrified of the dark and what’s in it so I immediately ran for the exit hopping over the railings. I looked like and idiot and missed out on a good ride! (Note I was Only 9) lol | (• ◡•)|
Lol I wanted to run to the exit but didn't want to get in trouble so I stayed in the line. I ended up fainting while I was on the ride cause I was too scared of it
The drops are for 2 or 3seconds. When you're on the ride you would barely feel the drops since it's dark. Also the turns in this ride are fast. You would only feel the drops when you're dropping but they aren't scary.
@@marinadiaz1762 yes. The sharp turns make you feel like your falling since the sides arent fully covered and the drops r okay but the last one I did not expect and idk why
Strange because when I went on six flags Mexico, I got on it and I saw it on RU-vid it look ok so I went on it and guess what... In the up section we're it goes slow but this time it went faster seriously, the turns was Ultra fast and it was super dark so I think the six flags Mexico version is more intense
Hey people in the comments.... you know painful rides are a thing right? That doesn’t make it bad. Not every ride’s job is to make you feel like you’re falling. That’s a rollercoaster. A TYPE of ride. Y’all mad annoying in the comments. Where are my New Yorkers who love the ride at Luna park, the Tickler?
too many, too violent, and the fact that you cant see shit makes it even worse... I'd ride Goliath in Atlanta any day over this nonsense... and the stupid video they play at the beginning... too annoying.
That doesn’t make it the worst. Not all rides are the same. A lot of people like these kinds of rides. It’s just a different type of ride that wasn’t meant for you 🤷🏻♀️
@@Peppermint_teaa i agree . I am 11 and have never been on a roller coaster in my life before yesterday at six fags great America. it was an awesome first ride but still didn't prepare me for viper right after lol!
