Excited about the wider toe box. The first pair of origin boots I bought were so uncomfortable even after trying to stretch them a bit that I never was able to wear them more than an hour so they have sat in my closet while I went back to wearing Thorgood moctoe boots. Just ordered a pair of these hybrids hoping for a better experience because I love everything else Ive bought from Origin and love supporting truly american companies.

Finally the properly gusseted tongue. I've been complaining about that for at least 2 years with the 2 different safety toe boots. Soles falling off, water getting in through the tongue. I'd be willing to give these hybrids a shot once they're made in safety toe configuration

I wish these were my next boot, Origin, from barefoot bjj guys. Please make a zero drop barefoot style shoe! A LEMs Boulder boot but made in the USA is what we want. These "traditional" boot shapes change the walking gait and hurt knees.

Would the standard lug be considered nonslip? The Alpha boots soles only lasted for 6 months and I want to make sure I get more wear out of them before I spend a lot of money getting new boots. As a chef I’m on them all day everyday and need the reliability. I love my boots currently from Origin but I need to resole them so was wondering if these would be better?

here is an idea. For the hunter path of Origin how about a Native Moccasins with soft and very bare foot like feel for the way back stocker. Get your bow hunters some super stealth feet.

I love your products and I really appreciate what you are doing for America, however, I bought a pair of boots from you that I feel were the worst boots I ever owned. There was no doubt that they very high quality and well crafted, but I could never get them broken in and they just killed my feet. I know my shoe size and I went by your sizing guide, but no matter what I did, they remained stiff. I’m no stranger to leather products, I used leather oil, I wore them inside the house with thick socks for two weeks. I rubbed them, I massaged them, but all I ever got was blisters on my feet. I called customer service and followed their advice to no avail. I ended donating a $400 pair of boots to Goodwill. I will continue your buy products from you, but never again will I buy any boots you produce.

Got my Lincoln 1865’s November ‘21 size 10 wide. With some cobblers choice leather balm, they feel like heavy duty socks (soft and comfy) with hard rubber soles (sturdy and durable). Obviously it’s been years and I’ve applied the leather balm a bunch, but they got to that point after about 5 applications of balm and a month straight of everyday wear.

I’ve got some high dollar boots from Nicks, several pairs in fact. These Origin boots are nice I own 6 pair of them now. While I agree that a leather foot bed is nice and conforms to your foot better over time the insoles in these origin boots aren’t bad at all. So far their boots have held up nicely and I wear them everyday to work. I’m a semi truck driver by profession and haul flatbed so I’m out working in them quite a bit and for an out of the box experience they are nice. The break in time is minimal compared to the Pacific Northwest boots. However they are also half the price of those boots too. While Origin makes a quality product the only way they can get to the level of quality of the Pacific Northwest boots is by upping the price quite a bit and that might price them out of the market. But for $300 you get a quality product from them. You’ll pay that from some Red Wings and I’ll grab these over my Iron Rangers 9 times out of 10.
