Custom. Casual Grind (off) pop height globel(because I'm also good with switch settings) scoop speed(input) board(input) grind input(off) auto revert(off). Biggest one is catch mode is(auto) manual catch mode does not work or i just don't get it. I can style every trick I do and I play on Xbox X series vs my PC.
@@MFNDman I thought the same about manual...but I have been hammering away at it and I'm finally getting the hang of it. It also helps to keep the flip and scoop friction low until you gert a better feel for it. Speed of scoop if HUGE. Managed to pull off some nightmare flips and stuff as well
Try Manual Catch but with No Release in grind settings ;) it’s the easiest Manual Catch setting, you can catch kickflips, shove its, varials, hardflips as soon as you do them. Tre flip, laserflip and such have their catch timing more precise.
honestly after playing just about every skateboard game since Thrasher Skate & Destroy/THPS, Session is THE simulation for anyone who's ever skateboarded..all the other ones, including XL, feel hella arcade like in comparison. Session makes me feel like i'm skating.
Just got the game a few days ago. I skate in real life. I played skate 1 to 3 to death….considering that:Session learning curve is beyond good and evil but….your gameplay shows what can be done with this literally amazing and true to the essence of the the sport simulation. Fckn piece of art❤

Hey, nutz, could you give me advice on the 180s and 360s, my either front foot or back foot dips down, so im still trying to figure out how to control that.
@charliemoney7 hmm maybe you are holding down the analog stick to long or not.long enough if that makes sense haha. I'm guessing the dip will be front foot or back foot depending on if you are doing front side or back side 180 . You gotta become one with the analog sticks hah

I recently started playing this a few weeks ago and I gave up for a little while out of frustration, I picked it up again and I'm starting to get the hang of it and actually skating some decent lines myself, but your skating is impressive, I'm not that good but im getting there. Such an amazing game ❤️

I’ve been playing for a couple weeks and I love it. It’s so satisfying when you get a good line down. Working on getting nose and tail slides more accurate. The possibilities with the game are truly endless.

I’ve had this game for about 3 days now & I love it. Reminds me so much of Skate 3 but there’s definitely added challenge to it. The fluidity & design of this game make it fun for me & my homies for sure
@@realistic.skate. for some reason I can't really do low pop ollies anymore in Session since the hotfix after V1.0 update... it'll just do pressure flips lol. Might be my controller but idk
Haha I appreciate that. I can deff see how people get turned off by the game . Deff takes a few hours to even start feeling comfortable with controls. If you ruff it out and get the muscle memory game is a masterpiece

Game is a masterpiece, but deff a game made for skaters . It's like a regular person playin Microsoft fligh simulator if you don't actually skate or know skating. That's why lost only play for like an hour or less then quit 🤣🙏
Crazy skill WTF 😂. I bought this on console when it launched (don’t own a pc) and hated it and deleted it same day and just picked it back up again last night and finally learning tricks and liking it more now.

I play on basically all default settings. The flow will come with natural time played i feel .I only have like 5 hours on Hardcore tbh I feel it needs a little more love to become perfect. I can get way more style and flow on default settings 💯
Awesome clips! Have you ever found yourself getting bored of the maps? I dont have any dlc, but have been trying to find fun modded maps and there is something about it that makes me not as eager to come back and play more. I think I have around 24 hours played give or take. Maybe I'm just not being creative enough lol
Tremendous! I have this game and starting to get better... I'm playing on the Xbox one from 2013 so the graphics are grainy as hell no matter what but I'm glad I can play it atleast.

Deff skater xl is fun have about 70 hours in that game but imo this game just hits different. The feeling you get when you actually do somthing is far more satisfying 💯 . Skater xl is more skate like . That being said I am hype af for the new SKATE
i think it really depends on the setting u use and whether u use manual catch in XL or not, i use milkys settings with renzo stance and manual catch and it is so satisfying when u finally land a line u have been tryinng for ages. i get what u mean tho as it does seem easier to just bang out loadss of trricks in a row compared to in session. IMO XL looks better tho. @@realistic.skate.

lesson for hour 501: simple board throwdowns.. i know there's no animation for that but sstill feels (and looks) much better than pushing from a standstill..

Please show your settings, animations looks very smooth especially on big flips. I like this game, but im tired of bad animation, and i hope maybe if I do the settigns right i will get more enjoyment of game
I play on default setting I just use the arms animation experimental . You gotta just feel out the flow and get used to the triggers . The more you play the better it feels and you will be able to flow better 💯
