This is so fun, Kayla. I kind of like cheating at the bachelorette party as a storyline! She panics because getting married is stressful and she's only been with this one person for so long and WHAT IF IT'S A MISTAKE, and then later regrets it horribly and never ever mentions it out of guilt. Maybe she's justifying it to herself as 'pre-wedding jitters' or 'last hurrah, that's the POINT of a bachelorette party'. Either way, it feels like how it might happen from a plot perspective

Perhaps Cara was originally never really interested in romantic relationships with others but is into it just for their fated mate. Once they found them Cara is now feeling open to that type of a relationship with them alone. Could be a way to justify the change made to their preferences.
