In childhood I learned to make the Sign of the Cross as a short prayer whenever I heard a siren. A few years ago, I began to do that every time I heard a siren. I pray for the first responders and those they are going to help. Of course, this happens all day long somewhere in the world, but can only say short prayers during the day for everyone. O Lord, hasten to their aid. Give Your Peace to those in need of it at these times.

Honestly, it’s amazing there haven’t been more explosive incidents with other CNG propelled vehicles. They’re not rare anymore.🤷🏼‍♂️🤔 Hoping the firefighters recover at some point.☹️

I had no idea Compressed Natural Gas was being used as fuel for moving vehicles now - it was bad enough when CNG was just being transported on vehicles and trains and through pipelines, with the gigantic explosions destroying buildings instantly and the explosions on derailed trains and so on. maybe we shouldn't be so quick to get into the habit of sending nothing but thoughts and prayers instead of doing something about it, huh? Whaddya say, America?

This is something that every FF dreads. You never know what might be contained in a vehicle, whether it's the fuel or another container located within the vehicle.

Tragic

Every fire truck should come with a remote-control front-mounted nozzle as you see on certain brush trucks and certain airport fire trucks. That way firefighters can stay inside the fire truck and spray water on things like this to knock the fire down and cool them off some before firefighters have to walk near them. I didn't see one remote-controlled front-mounted nozzle on any of the fire trucks I saw in this video. Every county/city should make sure at least one fire truck at every station has a remote-controlled nozzle on the front, our firefighters deserve gear like that to help shield them from things like this.
