I see what looks like a leader or log of White Ash that split, absolutely. I know nothing more or nothing less about that piece of wood. It doesn't appear to have a notch cut. Could have happened many ways and could have been done by many a persons. I don't know. All I do know is when this video was posted is that it was supposed to be of Jed Walter's whom I was referring to in my comment. Possibly this video was not of his death but was originally presented as such. So yes, Jed was a Real Lumberjack. I wasn't speaking about the piece of wood. The art of this trade is slowly being lost to technology and Jed did it with the skills of olden days, just as I did and my family did. Are you familiar with Jed? If so I hope you would agree.
