Cypher does haves the Imperium keyword, but I don't think he can be your warlord.

So Cypher cannot use the assassins because he cannot have the warlord trait. Battle brother rule also rules out Cypher in most Imperium armies. It would be nice to have Cypher add the assassin keyword.

Just scan the white dwarf pages.... Keep them in the front of their respective codices. As for multiple copies for stuff Eg like all the different astartes releases so far. We'll be getting replacement codices over the coming years. Undoubtedly starting with Astartes.

they could start with redoing bolters....Space Marines habe become weak,the only good thing is their save,and all other armies are better at what Space Marines should be doing,the only army that plays like Space Marines are depicted in the fluff are Blood Angels,all other Astrates Army are shooting armies....when Catachans can outperform Space Marines in the melee phase easily its time for a change.

@@benaswow Why ? How is he supposed to do it then ? Carry a White Dwarf with him at all times ? Your GW staff sounds like they are all assholes....if they cant provide a codex its their problem,not ours.

@@Buhlmanzky because according to them it's illegal to copy gw content. This includes battlescribe though can usually get away with that.

@@benaswow Many of the books for each game system state certain pages are permissible for copying for own use. The same goes for supliments in White Dwarf. If the staff complain they're wrong. GW Dublin have let us do it. We just have to own a copy. Which is fair enough. That follows copywrite laws. I also agree as a musician. I only ever copy my music for an accompanist, or for orchestra. I don't keep it if it's not mine. So yes, copying the supliments, and say handing it out to a friend, or taking a picture of your friends book and getting caught is up to you.

Bring a tablet or just your phone and have digital copies in there for convenience. For the WD, just take a pic of pages from the magazine and you're all set

Genestealers don't have "imperium" keyword. You can bring an astra militarum detachment (filled only with astra militarum units) so they can't bring an assasin. Cypher and the fallen have the "imperium" keyword so you can use them with an assasin in an imperium army but not in a chaos one.

Why dont you just cut the 3 pages out and keep them in a folder or hole punch them and put them in a binder? It's what I did for crimson fists. If you like to keep your WD pristine just buy 2 copies.

Crimson Fists and assassins. Just forget about that one time an assassin sabotaged the ordnance of an Crimson Fist fortress, which ended with the fortress detonating and taking half of the chapter with it.

@@NPCD-pc5ml Rogal Dorn was discusted by Malcador sending Assassins to kill Horus. He thought it was totaly dishonorable and unacceptable. He didn't mind mass murdering normal humans supporting Horus with Titans.

re the book pile up to get all the rules you can DIY by just having pics on an tablet or phone. Can find high res jpgs of most data sheets on the internet already so don't need to take your own pics. Until a proper digital codex (which is updated with all errata and chapter approved) this is the the easy solution to book piles

Oh just scan the pages and print them out at home and you don’t need to carry all the magazines around. I would be very surprised if all these rules don’t get rolled up into the annual chapter approved.

I wonder if they will get new models or if that assassin boxed game will get re-released. And yes, Cypher has the Imperium keyword. You could always put assassins in a "Fallen" force (since the days of only Indexes), but not with Heretic Astartes. Fallen have both Imperium and Heretic Astartes keywords, and with an army needing to share a keyword, they could either be "Imperium" or "Heretic". If you chose "Imperium", then assassins are good to go. But, until Cypher and his bros get to ride in vehicles, or deep-strike, they are only a fluffy lulzy choice, which is a shame, because his model is boss. EDIT: I remember you sharing a story from the Vigilus Book 1 Campaign book about how the DA suddenly ran off for ~some reason~ in the middle of a fight. So....maybe it's not only Abby showing up in VIgilus Book 2. Also, Cypher is the mostest loyally speesh mareen evaa! :P

I would just photocopy the pages and stick them into the space marine book if I was to do crimson fist or assassins. Less to carry then. My issue is will crimson fist rules be put onto gw page in the future for download, maybe someone in 5 months time decides to play them but can't get hold of that issue of white dwarf.

Spear was a beast. One of the baddest bad asses of the Heresy Series (along with Madail). Probably never going to get a model though.

I don't know Madail is as i'm only up to the First Heretic, but yes totally agree. Spear was possibly one of the scariest characters i've encountered in the HH so far, every scene he was in had me sweating like a mf. The final fight with him was pretty sweet

@@hondansx1000 Madail is the main bad guy in HH30: The Damnation of Pythos. And that final fight with Spear when the Assassins threw everything they had at him and still he kept murdering them one by one was epic. Also Eristide Kell - the Vindicare Assassin has a continuation of his story arc in HH short stories: "Gunsight" by James Swallow and "Vow of Faith" also by James Swallow.

There are just so many different options!..A shapeshifting assassin lady, or a sniper with an overcompensator pattern sniper rifle. Then we have a adrenaline/roid rage junkey that is literally filled to exploding with combat drugs, And then the mother....ers that,again, LITERALLY. HAVE. NO. *SOULS* ... Decisions; decisions ... I barely even have a full team of Primaris yet... How the hell is my wallet supposed too keep up with this!?😢😢😢 *Experiencing breakdown*

So I don’t really play the games, but that part about you needing to bring like a half-dozen rulebooks with you, that sounds sucky. Why not just copy and print the pages you need out of the books and maybe put them all in a binder or something? That way you can carry them around without needing all those heavy books.

Vindicare really isn't that amazing. 2.5 wounds on average per shot. He's decent now, but was definitely garbage becore the new rules

Yeah, they should have just made his shot do a flat 3 damage and if you roll a 6 to wound it does 3+D3 damage...and then the mortal wound shenanigans...Turbo Penetrator should do 3+D3 mortal wounds to a vehicle or monster not just D3...
