This is why i love small 4x4 channels like this cause i didnt know about protection barriers like this, 👍👍👍 i wish i knew this before i went thru bush bashing with my cruiser 😂😂😂😂😂
@@Australian4x4Adventures by me saying that about your channel mate i dont see 4x4 tv shows speak about stuff like this so im much appreciated you did, so once again thanks for your time and efforts into bringing videos like this for us to see 👍👍👍👍
Thanks buddy. Took a while to get what I wanted design wise but bush barrier have done an amazing job printing it all and making sure it all lines up. I’m fussy about stuff like that
Just got mine. They don’t pre cut the snorkel side panel and don’t give you extra magnet with your design anymore. But it looks the good and good quality 🤘
Australian 4x4 Adventures Will do, already got an email reply from Steve, I sent an enquiry at 10pm and he got straight back to me. That is some seriously good service.
Good review mate I see there's bugger all reviews online for this so i reckon you'll get a fair few views this vid hopefully. Such a cool product though I'll be starting my north melbourne footy club design now haha has to be done.
Ohh. Yeah that the one design they can’t do. Something about being a shit forty team 😂. Had to be said 😝. Yeah that would be pretty cool. You keen on a set?
Awesome review, thanks for the effort, liked it so much I Just ordered a set with your design (give ya some well deserved advertising..😎) I have just had my 100series resprayed and reckon these will do a great job of protecting it! Cheers mate👍
I wonder if the magnet itself will end up scratching the paint?just the fussy side of me thinking. PPF is friggin expensive and is only guaranteed for 10 years . and wonder about long term effects of magnetic paint protection panels vs ppf.
Damm! I want one! Ahh unfortunately they don’t make one for Toyota Prado 150 😪 I don’t get it the logic they make them for FJ (car no longer in production) and they don’t have one for Prado (one of the current top selling 4WDs in Australia) 🤔
Just looked up their website. Looks like a great product. They don’t say if the price is per veh or per side. Keen on getting a set though. Compares strongly against vinyl wrap which I don’t think is as versatile.
As mentioned these are applied when needed. Interested to know if you have applied them when the vehicle hasn't been cleaned prior to application. If I have been touring and have general road grime on the vehicle due to wet asphalt roads etc and then need to apply them, in your experience to date do you think this would affect the paint?
Hey. Good question. Yes. I’ve put them on with general road grim on the car. I did make sure there was no big chunks of mud or dirt on the car but it had about 2-3 weeks of general dirt on the car. Because the magnets are so strong and don’t move at all once on it simply held all the dirt in place and didn’t rub or leave any marks at all. It would be easy to scratch the car putting them on but if you were to twist them around trying to line them up. That would be my only concern.
Because the back door rolls in 2 directions and the front only rolls one direction. Imagine trying to wrap a rolling ball without getting any crease lines.
@@Australian4x4Adventures seriously? Not sure if you're joking or not :) if that's true then that's excellent! Assume that you've used them in temps over 30deg, any stickiness onto the paint like the company warns is possible?
I used a website called freelancer.com. I gave them the brief of what I wanted and we went from there. This was the 4th version before I was happy with it all. If your handy with photoshop you can make your own. Or bush barrier can help with custom design as well if you’d prefer that.
Yes they did. They also commented trying to bag the product out. I don’t delete any comments until it’s completely inappropriate. And that was. They tried to advertise in my comment section.
I think there just upset that this is a better and a more refined product, I like the tube case it’s far better than the massive carry bag....I think bush barriers have a winner here on this one 👌🏽
So do I. I’ve been looking at panel protection stuff for ages but couldn’t justify the price of rhino hide or the fact that you can’t have them on the hyw or river crossings. The fact they are MASSIVE to pack up is a big down fall as well
@@Australian4x4Adventures I've been waiting for something like this too, hopefully they have one for the 150 Prado lol I think it's perfect .... Rhino hide is way over priced and how you need to take it off on the hwy is abit silly if you ask me...what's the point in having one if you can't go over 100kph?! Anyway Thanks for sharing this one mate
