Whenever we talk about quality van builds we think of yours first, then the Overlander, then custom vans built for the very wealthy, then pretty much nothing. We are happy with our 2019 Winnebago 59k because it has dark wood and most of the shoddy construction is not obvious. Yesterday I looked at a 2021 new version Winnebago 59G brand new and it was so poorly constructed and had list price over $130k. Absolutely insane. So we will keep dreaming of having a van as nice and perfectly laid out as your is.
Hi guys!! Love your new haircut and color...super cute and very flattering on you Irene!! Sorry to leave you out Dave on the compliments. Lol 😆 Thanks for another great video. Give Pistal hugs from the Tarnaski clan.
Hi guys😃 I had to rewind and watch pistol again lol shaking that frisbee. Dave, thanks for the cabin filter reminder! I need to do mine for sure! Irene, loving the new due🤗. So cute on you. Really looking forward to a van review, and your updates done. Carey on😃
Just a little hack when you put on the hose back on, spray a little bit of soapy water on the inside surface of the hose where the hose connects to the air cleaner housing and the air intake. It helps a lot to put the hose back on especially on older vehicles where dirt and grime builds up.
LOVE your haircut...perfect for you and your spunkiness!!!! Thank you for sharing the maintenance part of your van. So important to keep everything running smoothly! Carey on...
I finally got around to following your wonderful instructions for changing out both filters. I'd like to suggest one minor mod to the procedure: place a towel or rags down in the engine compartment near the engine filter canister to catch dropped tools. Don't ask me how I know to do this :-)
Great advice. Where in Oregon? Looks like the Willamette Valley by the back ground. I'm From Cottage Grove. I say from , we spend our winters in Indonesia and our summers in our Van roaming. We are staying put this summer because of traveling due to Covid over here in Asia. Love your adventures. Thanks for your channel. Cheers
Thank you! judging by the micro dust all over the inside of Arvan, we should definitely change his filters - and that was so easy I'm sure I can do it myself!!
Hi guys! Good work! I have to say hello from my better half and say that the haircut and color was very nice! This applies to Irene, if anyone was wondering 🤭
Thank Dave I needed that information! So thoughtful of u. I am doing my first trip in my new to me Viva 24’ MH on a 3500 Promaster chassis. I’ve had it to three different shops for different things and asked each of them to double check that I don’t need hoses or filter etc. all of them said no. But I bet when I check I need both of these filters! And boy if I do I am so going to give them guff. Lol. Of course I’ll do it myself. Irene love your hair and as usual a great video. Thx.
Love it! Loving your new hair! Looking forward to the maintenance videos...several friends have vans so will have them check it out! Ms. Pistol in fine form on the frisbee field today!! Give her a hug for us! Roger says HI !! Carey ON! See you down the road!
Nice work. Check out the cabin air filter from Pureflowair next time. Has activated carbon layer and is in its own frame. Looks like a good filter. Looking forward to your upcoming reviews. Have a great summer! Go Pistol 🥏
Welcome back to summer in Oregon! Q: What is the underhood-front-and-center electronic device with wires coming off? Relays for one of George's systems?
Hey thanks for sharing your project, you break it down so its not so scary a job to do. While I watched "Humble Road" build your rig he always kept in mind how the owners would access and repair or maintain all the systems. How did it all work?
We do carry a full size spare that is factory mounted under the van. Won’t leave without it. We find ourselves in some pretty rocky remote places sometimes with no cell service.
We do and I believe it takes half of the really small bags of briquettes to fill it up. This flat pack works well but doesn’t burn as hot sometimes because there’s not a lot of ventilation. So I fill it close to the grill. Putting some small twigs under the briquettes helps a bit with ventilation. We finally wore ours out and bought a different model that has some better features that I like so far. We’ll do a review video of it soon. 😉
Love your van and am excited to see it as Humble Road van builds look amazing. We have a Ford Transit passenger van and will look into the filter issue. On another note, We lost one of our Boston Terriers recently due to a sudden illness. She was 1 week short of 7 years young. We miss her so much. Loved seeing your girl go after that frisbee. Our male BT would enjoy a flexible frisbee like that. Can you tell me the brand?
I am so very sorry to hear about the loss of your Bostie. I know you must be absolutely devastated. Hugs to you all! 💔😢 The frisbee is a Kong and it’s the only one that Pistol can’t tear apart. Be sure to get the red one because there is a black version that is supposed to be tougher but it’s thinner and Miss P was able to rip in rather quickly. You know how destructive they are!
