YES!!!!!! I thought this was the crowning moment. The epicness of LOONA in one choreography. This was a huge track halter for them to not winning anything with this song.
@@jasonmichael6543 Loona make me realize no matter how Kpop Group make a good and unique song if u underatted then u are "flop" i dont want to say that actually lmao But sadly it is what it is
@@hiru836 yeah that's basically it. Popular groups will gather more attention, than unpopular groups. But i rly like how more and more people that started from stanning big groups are now starting to stan less popular groups which is a pretty nice change, cuz every group deserves a fan.
Watching Butterfly again through your eyes takes me back. I'm lucky enough to be a foreigner living in Korea & I got to see Loona perform Butterfly at the Loonaverse concert before ever seeing the video and both firsts were such magical moments that cemented my love for the performers and the creative minds behind them, but with anything, the more you see, the more normalized it becomes. You lose the magic. But getting to watch a Babybit experience everything fresh revives a lot of that passion. So thank you, Thinacious. For your videos, your insight, and your effort.
Ahhh I know what you mean... if I were to stumble upon a reaction channel who's discovering Big Bang/2NE1/BoA/thelistgoeson for the first time, I'd happily lose sleep just to watch their journey so I can feel that "magic" again. Love this kpop lifestyle :) - thina
The way you have worded the feelings of watching reactors watch my favorite things is so beautiful 🥺,, I always feel that way with very few genuine reactors,,, I'm glad I saw your comment 💖
That totally reminded me of my first year with Kpop. It's so extremely rare to get those "magical" feelings now - 10 years later (heck, even 5 years ago I was feeling the same way) .
You should also watch the dance practices for “Colors” and “Satellite”. They’re both b-sides on the same album as Butterfly (X X) and they do some really dope things in those as well.
Voice/Star(Light, damn it OEC), has good Choreo too. LOONA blessing us with B-Sides that are better than So What. :p Peace, So What is good, but # B-sides are better. Then we have ++/xx/12:00 B-sides with Choreo.
hi girl, i just saw your reacting video of loona's history. And I heard your history with lupus and your tatoos and the butterflies and im so happy that your are currently ok ! stay healthy and I love that you are into LOONA. Please react to every single loona dance
YES LOONA is totally the LEADERS of 4th generation kpop. PERIOD. boy OR girl group....they are just on some other level. you would LOVE the so what choreo, all their choreo tbh if u haven't. def gonna check out ur other loona reacts bu tyeah they are ....just AMAZING.
Hey! I just came from your Loona Avengers video, and saw this uploaded 11 minutes ago. If you want to see more of their dance practices, they do another smooth member switch in their "Colors" video, and their choreography for "Voice" is also amazing! Their dance videos are just as fun to watch as MVs because I feel like they're just so satisfying~
Looking at this era again really made me miss Haseul. Seeing the group do this performance without her truly made me feel like something was definitely missing. I hope she's doing well. Either way, this hit way different, especially after So What and Why Not came out. Every comeback LOONA does always brings something fresh and something new to the table. Also, if you loved this choreo, you should see the dance for Colors. THAT one is legit mind-blowing.
If you are wondering, why there's apple, girls with eye patches, a tape player, it's because it's referenced their other videos. Great choreo, they even did a GOT7 dance to Eclipse.
Butterfly was a freaking masterpiece and because of mnet and their distributor they got extremely short-changed. You can tell how hard they wanted a win/prove themselves with just their second comeback.
In my opinion Loona had the best choreographers, sylists, makeup artists, and cinematographers in kpop while they were together. Their outfits and looks are always so beautiful and iconic, but not distracting or confusing. That's a problem I have with most groups - their looks are ALL OVER the place and it's hard to even just pay attention to who is who, even between scenes in the same video. That's a huge thing, something that's never really talked about in kpop, and extra important for a large group like Loona. Their production team did so well at making them easy to distinguish throughout their music videos. And there's something about their MVs that is just on another level from most other kpop in a way that is hard to really explain in words - they just feel so serious about the quality and not just making "another kpop mv"
I love this song's choreography so much. Sad that it didn't get nominated for year-end awards. I especially love the parts like at 7:03 when it seems like Olivia is sitting on Lipsoul's laps, but actually isn't and the end pose where they aren't actually close together, but spread apart
The butterfly has a lot of meaning in the loonaverse too, in the teasers for this mv you can see scenes indicating time travel, and it's impossible to talk about time travel without talking about the butterfly effect. Honestly this comeback was just so perfect
Heejin the first member said in one interview that its good that all the members are so into details. Thats why their choreography are really on point from the angles and synchronisation
oh man im so surprised you realized right away that they were going through butterfly stages in the dance (ie cocoon and whatnot) because even as a hardcore fan of loona i didnt realize that until months AFTER butterfly was released haha
i am genuinely so happy for you... loona is a whole ass journey and when i was at the beginning of it i was truly mesmerized and now i’m sure that getting to know them was one of the best things that happened to me. there’re no words that can express how impactful this group is. their music, choreographies, and especially personalities are insane. i hope you will enjoy this journey as much as i am... i’m excited for you and i look forward to another reaction videos xx
I will never get tired of watching this choreography. I love it so much i easily watched a 30 min dancer’s analysis of it which only made me love it more. Definitely one of my favorite choreos of all time. Even with the many different reoccurring themes, motifs, and symbolism in the dance, they hardly ever dance the same sequences more than once. Every verse feels new and like a story. I’ll always be a little disappointed it never got any wins or any choreography nominations. But aside from that, I really love how it’s such a perfect song and choreography for them. I firmly believe that no other group can perform this the same as them. It just feels very Loona.
If you really focus on their transitions, they go right into it without even looking where they are traveling - this is how you know they practice 'like crazy' to build that type of confidence and team work! It is no surprise, that they practice all day and night (interviews with members will confirm this) - They work hard! And that is why they are so appreciated and loved! Here is a clip of one of Loona's choreographers (HyunGyu Kim) while teaching a class with Loona : instagram.com/p/B2ghXSSFSU2/?
I highly recommend checking out their choreo for colors and voice. Colors had some really interesting transitions that you might like, and voice is just really fun ^^
I love your reactions to LOONA ❤ Welcome to the talent rabbit hole. Your journey with LOONA will be eye-opening and so worth it. Peace and thank you. 🙏
i love your reactions especially to loona! there's definitely so much to discover with them and I'm glad you're enjoying. butterfly is a really special song and choreo
Loona is ahead of it’s time, has lore (which requires fans to pay attention a little more than ordinary kpop) and inclusive. Which is why it turns off guys who just want the cutesy, bubble gum groups.
hello thina. i don't know if you did it in the meantime, but you should watch loona's butterfly _in & out version_ (which i personally consider to be the most awesome choreo ever...especially the camera work is phenomenal). you will not regret it 😉
Being a Once myself, sometimes i do appreciate how other groups do good dance choreography.. but Loona Butterfly choreography is just an Art piece.. Every movement is just so pleasing to the eyes
trust me more u discover their video more u get confused who is ur bias . end up u doesn't have any bias but become ot12 stan especially when u see their crack moments . honestly stan loona is fully happiness for me like they show what is happiness . STAN CRACKHEAD STAN VISUAL STAN TALENT STAN LOONA !
Glad you liked it!! They're amazing. If you like dances that mirror each other, I think you should definitely check out their Satellite dance practice! Best wishes from Argentina
IDK If someone already said it but some of the moves were choreograhed by a member (choerry with purple hair) such as the domino effect thing esthetically pleasing move as you said.
The thingabout thischoreoisthatone of the people behind it is actually part of a dance crew and Butterfly to this day still the only KPop choreo on their resume; that's why it haves such a performative and fluid feeling to it while dancers such as Lia Kim or Kasper are so used to do KPop choreos that the results can feel a bit formulatic.
hi!! i'm loving your loona reactions!! if you like butterfly dance practice then i think you'd like their colors dance practice too the synchronisation and moves in that one is insane!! thank you for checking out butterfly and i hope you check out colors too!!
funfact! the black screen in mv is not an accident!!!! it represents YOU being in mv. you are a part of LOONA. like you said there were alot of different faces in mv. and you're one of them!
