Ognis the Dragons Lash cedh card review 

Ive been playing this for a bit. I started trying to make it turbo and ended up at the same conclusion that its better as a faster mid-range deck. I started by making it a mono red Jund deck with win-cons of Magda, Kiki, and Dualcaster. I've decided that one needs to go all in on secret commander Magda, or no Magda. My wins are now Kiki, Dualcaster, and Revel in Riches. I try and Emergence Zone the Revel in Riches or Defense of the Heart.

What a great video Mons. Something else to consider is Bootlegger's Stash with Magda, which basically turns 5 lands into a tutor

Seems fun with magda in the deck for sure. No problem getting her out of the deck! Black and green tutors ftw.

if you add old gnawbone that is a fast and quick way to have infinity combo with hellkite charger and aggravated assault

love this deck tech VDO eventhough my cedh TnT deck just got crush by Ognis yesterday T^T I would say that amulet of vigor Mayhem devil and Ghirapur Aether Grid is so strong in this deck :)

Don’t forget about KCI. I know it’s 4 mana but goblin rabblemaster with extra combats can hurt your opponents a lot.

I think there is some potential for Ognis Pod or Ognis Midrange. I like the idea of playing hatebears like Magus of the moon and then giving them haste with a pitched anger, banking mana to go on a shattering spree and try to control the game until you can turn 1 of your hatebears into a Mayhem Devil or Magda.

You could also get a facebreaker for drawing potential

I am no cedh player, but why no Ognis Stax? Using the treasures to take advantage on your opponents, even if you have to wait one turn.

More for casual but I do like the ability to red ritual into this commander because of the hybrid mana

I love this commander and I'm gonna make a deck! Dumb cards to add: Mayhem Devil and basilisk collar (or vorpal blade) yey death touch pinger! Cursed mirror (crappy ramp or awesome hasty clone)? :p This guy has a really thick swedish accent (i might be totally wrong though)

Excellent deck tech overall. I was wondering what Queza, the Augur of Agonizes would look like in a “Eggs shell” CEDH by your hands.

Amazing tech, I was wondering if you see potential in falco, spara pactweaver. (One-ish card combo with thought lash) and devoted druid and senseis top works.

This might be a sleeper until we get more o:"tokens with haste" cards, right now we only have a few playable ones like Elemental Mastery

Fantastic deck tech! I had really overlooked this commander. What came to mind while watching this was building sort of an artifact aristocrat deck that tries to combo off with Grinding Station and Underworld Breach, but the fact that it's an attack trigger makes Grinding Station too hard to loop, I think. Also in the "artifact aristocrat" theme would be KCI and maybe Audacious Reshapers, but I still share your conclusion that there just isn't enough to push it into cEDH viability. Another way to go would be to make a mana denial stax deck, but I think that Ognis is a pretty poor choice compared to the other options. The biggest issue in my opinion is that the treasures enter as tapped artifacts, so Ognis doesn't break symmetry most of the best stax pieces. (Collector Ouphe, Null Rod, and Winter Orb would all be excellent if the treasures were untapped). The second biggest issue is that Ognis doesn't get White's landwipes. Katilda, Dawnheart Prime and Lavinia, Azorius Renegade are both far ahead of Ognis, at least by first impressions.

Does the Manufacturer replacement effect override the tapped treasure? If so that’s kinda neat
