I don't know how much time you have in Egypt but you may want to take a trip to Aswan, at it's southern border. That's where the black Nubians are and they are some of the most friendliest people in Egypt. Some of them speak English too, so you can at least have somebody to communicate with.

World class sites, truly amazing. Problem is poverty,unemployment,illiteracy and resentment everywhere. Corrupt officials,rickety old buses and shabby infrastructure . So, factoring that it’s your choice.. embassy on speed dial along with English speaking lawyers and doctors. Enjoy.

The Street is Muhammed Ali Pasha Street. I have visited over 30 times, as I used to live in Jeddah. I know Cairo like I know my hand. The best street is the one which intersects the main street you crossed, it is called Muiazzadeen Al Fatami, you can see many historic mosques from Bab Al Fatuh to Bab Zuwela.

No. at wasn't Mohamed Ali. Sharia Mohamed Ali is a little north east of Midan Opera. It use to be where all the singers and dancers lived, but now it's mostly furniture workshops and stores. There's only one small block where they have some instrument stores. I bought my dohola there.

Don't worry about copyrights that much. It is not very pressed on in Egypt. So, do not worry about videos getting copyrighted. You definitely want to go Luxor and Aswan, they have more old monuments than Cairo. Also, while you are in Cairo you should visit The Egyptian Museum. Also, visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, it has many mummies. If you want sea and beach activities, go to Sharm ElSheikh, Dahab, Hurghada, or ElGouna. If you want to see old churches, you can go to Old Cairo. If you want to see old christian monestaries, go to Wadi ElNatroun monestaries or Saint Antonious Monestary at the Red Sea gouvernaute (the oldest monastery in the world). Final note: All Egyptians learns English in schools even if some only practice it but generally it is easy to find Egyptians speaking English.

@SLY- Cairo - I so miss Cairo. The energy of the city is infectious. What I also found interesting was the dress of the people. I thought I would see more conservative dress. Nope. Cairo was more liberal even the women- they were made up to the nine- Beautiful women. The dance with the ladies spinning that wide cloth was very nice. I had that entertainment on the night cruise along the Nile including the belly dancer! So do your thing buddy.

Was there in April of 2022. The streets of Cairo traffic is insane. Lots of road rage and I seen someone get hit a few times. Luckily tho no one was killed. The energy in that city is definitely awesome, but the heckling there is unreal. Everytime you turn around somebody trying to sell you something.

Alright guys. Everytime i look in the comments of this guy's videos and videos like this it's just full of people saying how it's dangerous to film here and how your surprised to see he was able to film. At this point i think y'all need to chill it probably just isn't as hard or bad to film there as you think.

Go to the restaurant koshari Abu Tarek it's very popular people love it for some reason they say it's the best koshari tho my parents always tell me it's very normal and there is nothing special about it , go look for a good koshari restaurant in zamalek then compare it with Abu Tarek to see if it's true or not , and btw I can help you with using some Arabic phrases too if you really need to speak to someone.

@oldme4221
@oldme4221 Год назад
No not really 😅 almost everyone here in Egypt got covid 19 three or four times i actually got it like 6 times now you used to it after the second time + eating healthy and exercising helps really the only one wears masks are the ones with serious conditions and should take care of thier health . The states doesn't really force you to wear it except in malls and packed places but not anymore and yuh you just got the vaccine and everything is ok
@MRFxa85
@MRFxa85 Год назад
Btw people does not look at you like a tourist there pro, you look the same 😜 even Egypt has many different colors and roots in it cause not made up on specific ethnic even people does not care at all about the color due Islam religion that make it mandatory since 1400 years ago to respect everyone who ever they are, so we don't understand why people would fight over colors or any other reasons regarding this.
