@@Amethyst454 Ancient Egyptians were not black. They are the same as modern Egyptians. Arabs never mixed into the Egyptian population. Egyptians only adopted Arabic as their language and converted to Islam. Ancient Egyptians, like modern Egyptians can be pale all the way till dark brown. However, their bones, as backed by DNA studies on ancient mummies, are Caucasian. Modern Egyptians actually have more sub Saharan black DNA than ancient Egyptians did due to the slave trade and immigration from Sudan

The black people are the indigenous inhabitants of Egypt and have been residing there for thousands of years. The Arab invasion took place in the mid-7th century, which led to the displacement of a significant portion of the population towards the southern regions. Before the Arab invasion, Egypt had faced invasions from various other groups at different times including the Hyksos, Assyrians, Persians, Greeks, and Romans.

The Nubians are the last vestige of the ancient Egyptians, as opposed to the people in the north, who are highly mixed with other European and Asian conquerors, although they will never admit it and look down on Nubians as Sudanese.

@@zeroronaldo9313I will return to Egypt, the Cradle of Human Civilization. I realize however every Continent wants to claim it, yet it belongs to Africa. My visit was one of greatest moments of my life, but as an African-American I experienced forms of racism that I hope the modern day Egyptians have overcome. Our tour group went to the Cairo Hilton bar and this white bartender refuse to serve me, possibly believing I was a Nubian. Finally a white member of my group demanded he serve me which he did, but I realized that Egypt had serious colorism issues, which it had never overcome since the British Colonial Era. Then when we took a train ride to Aswan, I was taking a picture on a stationary train. Suddenly officials came running over to tell me that I wasn’t allowed to stand on the train. That is until he realized I wasn’t a Nubian, but an American tourist, whereupon the official was happy to take a picture with me. Nevertheless, I resented the fact that that Nubians were discriminated against in there own land. I also noticed white American Universities helping to restore the Pyramid and wondering if they were trying to repaint the obvious dark skinned original Egyptian white, as to not offend their highly lucrative European and white American-tourist trade. Now I realize a lot of changes could have been made in Egypt since my 1980 visit. I hope the form of self hatred I witness has improved.

@@josweetlove1537 "trying to understand why we would think they look different to other black people. Not all black people look the same" i'm trying to understand why somebody would make 2 opposite statements at the same time. it Shows the concept of black that many Americans have doesn't make sense because it issen't based in anything substantial outside U.S history & culture. Believing black comes in all shades makes no sense if it wassen't for living in a country that invented something as a one drop rule. If your skin is light it's because you're mixed, both black & white would make as much sense in reality. It's a made up concept & identity that can only be used talking about present US or western society, a perfect example is the case with Rachel Dolezal, you couldn't write that as a script of a comedy because it would just be to absurd to even imagine. Egyptians can come in different shades, same with Nubians but black is a name for a shade of skin, if it's lighter it's simply not black. the discussion & interest in it with Egypt is idiotic.

When I was in Egypt, they were always very adamant about. They are not African. I should say in Cairo Egypt. I simply reminded them Egypt was on the African continent and called them African anyway they hated me. I’m black American mother always told me and so did my grandmother that ancient Egypt was created by Africans that look like us. Now they’ve proven it true

Thank you so much for this video of Black Egyptians. When I was in America as a student from black African country, a so-called Caucasian Arab woman at the same university, asked me why Africans don't wear clothing and leaving in bushes. Though I fumed about what that Arab Egyptian woman asked me, I kept my cool. I was able to tell that white Arab woman my mind in a polished and educative ways about Arabs being occupiers in North African countries and in country like Mauritania, Tanzania, and other black African countries. I told her that Arabs lied to black Afrincas of being their friends and helping them to weed off Caucasian Europeans. Arabs in in Africa are like vistors that slowly took over your house. Then I talked about Egyptian Mammies. This white Arab Egyptian woman began to tearing down. She felt so bad that she remained mute throughout our conversation.

Egypt was controlled by the Nubians long before other Arabic nations began to war because they wanted the fertile land by the Nile. It is a very interesting piece of history. Especially when you hear some people say Egypt is not in Africa, that has to be the craziest thing I've ever heard.

I was a little disappointed was hoping to see more conversations with the locals, how they live and what they do for leisure/work and someone who could talk about the ancient history of Aswan, etc. Did my mitochondrial DNA several years ago (mothers, mothers, mother line) and it went back to Aswan, Egypt specifically, including northern Nubia (modern-day Sudan) and even DNA a direct line to present-day Semitic Ethiopia but their DNA is younger than our line. !!!! Hi. Thank you for this footage. Between 9:30 and 9:40 brought back memories to me! LOL! I was in Aswan several years prior to COVID-19. I did not experience a lot of vendor aggression in Aswan, but I did in other parts of Egypt, especially Cairo. While I pondered over what I wanted to buy, I told a merchant that I did not have any money. Several other vendors heard me and began to ridicule me - and I mean, serious fourth-class ridicule. Their main statement was, "He is from the USA and has no money!" They kept this up for a while. Unfortunately for them, I did not buy anything. I took the money that "I did not have" back to the USA with me. I really wish that they would have just chilled out. At 9:38 it appears that you also wish that they would just step back a little! LOL!!! Other than that, however, I really enjoyed my trip to Egypt.

Welcome to Egypt bro! 😎 I'm an African man from France (Black as we commonly say) and I visited Egypt 3 years ago. My trip was AMAZING, I went to Cairo, Aswan, Luxor and I'm planning to return there, God willing.. 🥹 The Nubians are very welcoming and friendly, I had an Airbnb room in the Elephantine Island (The nubian village) which made me really experience life with the locals! It was great... The downside of visiting Egypt is those tourist traps like you know, the local egyptians wanting to sell you their stuffs, the taximen following you everywhere to make you have a ride in their taxi etc... I was alone and I had to bear it for 10 days! 😂 you need to be VERY patient and have self control if you wanna visit Egypt, if you don't have self control, things can easily go bad... Haha

Why would any sane reasonable person believe Caucasians were ever the Indigenous people of Egypt or that geographical region.

Maybe because King Tut's Y-DNA is more common in England that it is in the entire African continent. Many ancient pharaohs undeniably had European DNA, not least of all the Greek ones like Cleopatra who was 100% Greek.

@@rgrifferon Colour is not always accurate when it comes to antiquities. However, did you notice only the males were pigmented and the females were light skinned? Even Egypt today, the females are usually much lighter than the males. The females then and now were/are kept away from the sun and did/do little manual labour. Some of the antiquities show African/negroid features. The rest are downright Egyptian and European in appearance.

The fact that they, as well as many other North African countries were conquered by Arabs and took on the Arabic language and much of the culture, as well as Islam and such, does not make them any less African.
