Iconic film, awesome soundtrack music, great cast (bless Fonda and Hopper) and classic Jack Nicholson-man, does he have a “beauty” of a helmet! This was one of my fave clips from this flick. Luv this movie.

I remember back in '69 my late great Dad took me for a ride on a first year Triumph Trident. Now I've been riding over 48 years. Legendary film.

I’m 70 years old….👍🏻❤️🙏🏻 I have been riding since I was 12 years old….! I’m still riding today …..👀 One of my bikes , is a Harley Davidson chopper..❤️👍🏻 if I do wear a jacket, it is a Peter Fonda jacket with an American flag on the back…🇺🇸of course I have two Captain America stars and stripes helmets..! One for me and one for the wife…😍 Because we both like to be birds …………!!!

For most of the movie ( or the trip to new orleans) wyatt and his passangers do not use helmets and all of sudden Wyatt start using his helmet and demands his passanger to do the same. Billy still keeps on riding without helmet and looks like he does not even have one. Why is that? Was there some kind of a law in the southern states that if there were two riders on the bike, the helmets had to be used. But only one rider can ride without?
