Repeating; it is mandatory for you to see these guys live on stage….just go see them….2 hours 15 minutes that will be printed in your memory for eternity and that will change your perception of stage performance / stage control….only downside is that you will kick yourself permanently that you did not see them before 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘…and now get on with the albums in chronological order 😉
Absolute truth! I’ve been listening to them since the mid 80s and I’ve seen them live several times over the years. My first time was when they were opening for ozzy!!l the last time was in 2018 and I took my sons (17 and 22 at the time) it is still my best mom memory to this day! My 17 year old bounced the whole way back to the car after the show screaming that I was the best mom ever! I’ll never forget that!
You gotta see them!! 18 times, man. Each one has been different and special. I had the privilege of growing up near the Bay Area, where they're from. They have announced more 2024 dates. Go!!
I was there that night, we drove from Montreal 235km to see them again and the video doesn't give a good vibe of the audience because the sound is too loud but we were screaming like hell, you had to be there to know it
I went to see them in Auckland in 2000, it was absolutely fantastic.Even Air New Zealand blacked out the planes on the flights from Wellington to Auckland as there were so many flying up for the concert. Aircrews were wearing black shirts etc, about 90% of the passengers were wearing black. Just Awesome.
Very nice choice for live reaction! Keep going with the live versions, I think that shows them at their best. Another pick from this same concert in Quebec, song called "The Day That Never Comes". It's nice song, which evolves nicely from beautiful to heavy, as you have seen in some of their songs.
As a singer and a guitar player James is awesome but what make me crazy it’s how he entertains people! Love that! Please react to my favourite Metallica song Fade to Black, I really suggest you the Live 2022 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Incredible sound, video and of course performance I love your content, a friend from Italy 🇮🇹
This song traditionally is the last song of their encore. You have to go see them live if you get a chance. I have seen them 11 times since the beginning. To me the best band ever. Tons of hits, longevity, and stupendous live show.
You definitely need to see them live! I've seen them twice, in '91 for ...And Justice for All, and in '19 on the Hardwired tour. Both times were simply amazing!
Hello there... I don't want to keep bugging you, but I will... but I really want you to react to Metallica live Mexico City, Disposable Heros or All Nightmare Long! I'm begging you!! The energy is absolutely 💯 INSANE! Please 🙏 🙏 please. Welcome to the Metallica family ❤ Also, since I've seen them throughout their Career 18x, I can tell you, they're Way better live!! Like no other! They bring it!! Hopefully, you react to my request? I'll wait & beg..lol. I really enjoy your reactions & I Love Metallica. They're my favorite band of all!! ❤ thanks!🎶🤘🎸🖤
Do me and every really Metallica fan a favor. Some hater was raggin on the boys not playing disposable HEROES live,,, personally in my top 5 Metallica songs,,,,, not only did they crush it live but it was better than studio. Check out disposable heroes live in Mexico city (Orgullo, Pasion, y Gloria) 🤘🤘🤘trust me
Ok so this one is tops for me because I have a distinct memory of my first time hearing it back in the mid 80s. From that day and for the rest of my life Metallica will always be my obsession!
This song is from their best days, Metallica was at their best in the 1980s. One thing as old time Metallica fans know for sure is that voice of James has mellowed out a lot over the years and that’s part of their decline because he doesn’t sound nearly as aggressive as he used to.
I saw these guys open for Ozzy on their Master of Puppets tour at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit and blew the roof off that place! It was Amazing! To be able to say I saw them live back in the 80s is a badge of honor for me because I actually survived the war they waged on all of us. I'll never forget that night! Crazy, just crazy
Oh hell yeah! Love it especially going back to Kill em All!! Thank you for another great reaction, can't wait for Ghost and did you listen to Yellowolf featuring Kid Rock. Let's Roll ?
I was hoping you were going to do this live version! I mean, there are better live versions of the song out there, but it's worth watching this one just because of how it shows the fun-loving side of Metallica that we don't get to see very often.
I grabbed one of those beach balls from that tour. At the Sydney show - although a few people tried to grab it off me! I’ve still got it deflated in a cupboard somewhere 😂
This song Seek And Destroy comes from Metallica. Kill Em All album put out in 1983 , when I first heard this song it blew my mind . I had to go out and buy a cassette became a Metallica fan after hearing Seek And Destroy !!! 🤘🔥🎸💯...
Metallica did play Woodstock, but later iterations. I think my favorite version of their song "For Whom the Bell Tolls" was from their Woodstock '94 set. If you check it out, make sure it's 7:30 seconds long; that's the full version. I've always used this one to hype me up for a swimming competition or something similar; it's a banger (or should I say... another banger!) I wasn't at that show, but I was 4th row center stage for their final show on the Black tour in August in Miami, Florida. They're amazing live, if you get the chance. Rock on. 🤘
I got a balloon when they played in Arlington, Texas back in August. I fought hard for it. I caught it first and everyone around me knew it and let me have it. 🤘
You need to see them with the San Francisco symphony orchestra. They done 2 sets of gigs with them 20yrs apart. Watch Bleeding me from the 1st S&M and The Outlaw Torn from S&M2 you wont be disappointed
I could be wrong, but i think it was this Quebec show where they filmed their "official" Master Of Puppets video. They mixed in clips from a movie they produced called "Through The Never". The crowd was a little more lively for that one. Now THAT one is worth a watch. I know you did the Manchester version (the one in the rain).....but the "official" vid is pretty bad-ass. Like loads of people are saying, the Seattle '89 show was another one for the history books. So many epic cuts from that show. Congrats on your 9K milestone! You're right.....I think your Metallica vids put you over the top. Us old farts will now try to turn you on to the classic rock we all grew up with like Rush, Black Sabbath, Boston, REO Speedwagon and Ozzy (edit: almost forgot to stick Van Halen in there as well). We're gonna try and expand on that musical "education" of yours. Your subscriber count will DEFINITELY climb upward. Great vid as usual!
Fact about this song, it’s a Metallica tradition for Seek and Destroy to be the last song they perform in a concert. So this was the energy level of the band and the fans at the end of the concert. And yes Metallica played many times in England, one time they played in Manchester and it was raining like crazy and they performed a full concert under rain because it was sold out. There are videos of that concert you should react to one perhaps
You know sure, now a days Metallica sounds a little different, maybe a little less intense at times, but they do love their fans for real, and they've become very humble in the last ten years or so, really appreciating the people that love their music, not that they haven't in the past, but their was a time where Metallica was just a touring machine, larger than life, and up high on a pedestal by the fans. They genuinely seem like good dudes to have a beer with and chat.
I believe they just wrapped up their '23 tour and plans are in the works for next year. Keep your eyes and ears open. Hopefully they do go there and you have a chance to experience a real rock show. I saw them about 20 years ago at an arena like this one but their stage was round and rotated very slowly throughout the show so that by the end of it, they had faced everyone. It was a great gesture on their part, I thought, to go through that expense when they could've just had what they had here. Awesome journey with you. Congrats on the 9k! Maybe at some point on your list you could go to their Death Magnetic album and give "All Nightmare Long" a listen. The official video is crazy distracting and I don't believe it even features the band playing. IDK if there is a live performance, but the album version for sure will knock you out of your chair - so strap in. Don't say I didn't warn you, like those other guys did to you. 😆
Gotta check out Load and Reload! It’s so hard to choose but if I had a hypothetical favorite of theirs it would be Until It Sleeps off of load. Definitely a bit different but ugh sososo good!!
I seen them three times live They are one of the few bands that sound as good if not better live than on their albums Telling my age I seen Master of Puppets once and the And Justice for All twice
You will find a big difference from the young Metallica and recent Metallica 🤔 you will notice when you hear the original studio recording of seek & destroy 🤔 I'm looking forward to it 😁
