Moments like these really show how bigger of a person you really are. Sometimes people make jokes that cross the line without noticing. It takes a lot of strenght to not clap back hard.
I'm not sure how, or when but if enough of you guys were fans of Aleks when he used to post Spooky Craft. When of the the days when he was scheduled to post a video he posted an update video instead saying that he wasn't gonna post that day because it was the day his mom died.
They're content got me through hard times in life specifically at work being super toxic them making me laugh forget about work just made things better
My mom died in september, and I can say with all honesty, that my friends making those jokes about my mom after she dies is still funny for me, especially with friends always feeling fucking TERRIBLE for it every time

@@pocketmeatball Dude you can't speak for everyone, not everyone takes death lightly. Once someone is gone, they're gone forever, never to see their face or hear their voice never again. Have some compassion for the people around you, just because you don't take it serious doesn't mean you can just talk like to anyone? Good luck with that, lots of people are "down" for their family and will do anything so watch where you step. I don't take death serious as well as its the fact of life and it all comes for us at some point and we just got to enjoy our lives until then but the fact is some people just are afraid of death and don't like the thought of their relatives gone forever. Aleks and James are the best of friends so I can see how he doesn't care THAT much but I'm sure it hit home with Alek low-key no doubt but he just brushed it off and wanted to laugh. Some people just aren't that strong and we have to help them understand that it's just a part of life and THEN we can joke around once they live freely without the fear of death. We are still in a point in this world where Death is a scary thing to many people and we have to change that so we can all live in peace.
@@nightfallstudios7193 well I did say that I can't speak for everyone And you act like I didn't say I know what it's like to lose someone. My mom committed suicide and shit when I was just a kid. I know barely anything about her, and I don't have a dad or anything in my life either so I think I know what death does to a person. I'm not gonna make jokes to someone unless I know they're comfortable with it, but I'm not gonna personally go out of my way to not make jokes about my own experience. That's how I cope with shit
Aleks and James are best friends, it was just a joke and there's no need to pity Aleks because he thought it was funny too People who have lost family members aren't always extremely sensitive to dark jokes like that I personally hate when people get awkward over the death of my mom or the loss of my family so I make jokes and stuff to make them feel more comfortable because this is my normal I'm used to the way things are and it sucks when people don't know how to react, like chill dude, it's not that big of a deal to me, though I certainly can't speak for everyone
For me it makes me extremely uncomfortable when people even mention my mom. I don't freak out or anything but it isn't something i like thinking about.
