The pain of rc conversations is for real 😢 hope you get it fixed, on another subject i put those wheels on my losi for a bit of on road fun and it handed just as bad, ended up drifting into a curb and twisting my whole chassis to shirt, in my opinion they r a little small for the power and gearing you need to get a 5th scale to go fast
@nathancoombes260 Thank you for supporting the channel. it's really appreciated! Gearing, I think it's okay. It will do 60+ mph, which I'm happy with for such a large car. Wheels and tyres are getting swapped out as soon as I find some replacements!
@rcforever8176 it 100% wasn't the radio. Definitely interference on that road, unfortunately! I was happy with what it pulled on the gps, even with a rough run.
@rcforever8176 yeah! We had it on one other run. So we guess it's some interference that's active at certain times. We will do it again once the wheels and tyres are all upgraded!
if the rear end is always stepping out / spinning out , you need thicker fluid or grease in all the diffs , and especially more so to the rear and centre diffs . I don't know if ROVAN'S have sealed or non sealed diffs , but either way you need something thicker in the diffs . Same thing needs to be done with your MAVERICK QUANTUM R FLUX RALLY also . Certain RC car manufacturers never come properly sorted from factory , and MAVERICK & ROVAN are among the non properly sorted RC'S new out of the box 🤔 . Even if you use a low C rated lipo it's still going to spin the rear end out , and that's why you need thicker fluid or grease in the diffs 🤔 .
@AmpRC definitely does not have a gyro. I will get some new wheels and tyres and run it again. Nevertheless, I ran this here to see what it could achieve top speed wise. The car is amazing as a rally car. On gravel grass, etc. Maybe put some rally cross tyres on 🤔
@louis2179 your right it was a signal issue. As it's an industrial site, there would be loads of signals We never had an issue here before, but it seems like other RCs do the same here now. As we have done some more testing here with other cars. I'm on the hunt for a new location, I guess!
